I bought these after running my first half marathon and running out of gas mid-run. These have been a good addition to my long runs. They don't upset my stomach and they taste fine. They are a little thick, but easy enough to swallow/digest mid-run. I use one every five miles or so and I've found them to give me enough energy to get through without issues.

I'm amazed! I tried these today on an aggressive trail training for a trail 10k. I'm soon to be 66 years old and started running 4 months ago (after brisk walking for a year). At 3 miles in I downed 3/4th of a tube and after a few minutes I had MUCH more energy. I simply ran stronger for another half hour. I'm sold. I will keep these on me every time I run (which is every other day). The taste was SWEET and a little different but not in a negative way -- I'm just not used to it. A hearty 5 stars from 'ol Cosmos.
