This thing is perfect for my bead blasting cabinet! It separates out all the glass bead with zero dust in the air. It is extremely easy to use. Just install it on a five gallon bucket, done! It fits nice and snug. It is built well and should last quite a long time. Buy it! You’ll be happy you did.

This works very well. It saves me time and money in not having to replace the filters in my shop vac. It's super easy to set up and empty sawdust. I highly recommend

I bought this based upon the positive reviews. I just used it for the first time. It has exceeded my expectations. Typical dust and debris seems to be approximately 100% filtered into the bucket. The only thing that left any residue in the shopvac or its filter was very fine ash from the fireplace, but even that was only a very minor residue. I am very impressed. The two inconveniences that I found were: 1) the unit and bucket were very light, and might not stay upright; and, 2) the hose connections were not as positive as they might be, as the hose popped out at one point when I pulled on it. I regard these as solvable issues, whose effort I consider worthwhile because of the truly remarkable effectiveness of this cyclonic filtration unit. I cannot imagine that any buyer would be disappointed with its performance. I am going to build a rolling carriage to hold both the shopvac and bucket as a unit, in order to avoid potential wear & tear on the unit caused by pulling on it, etc. Second, I am going to review any available hose adapters to see about making more positive hose connections.

For the price I figured “what the hell?! I’ll try it!” For the most part it does pretty well. I was using it with a sander and sanding drywall to find it doesn’t catch everything. The dust that made it past the dust collector loaded up the filter and I came out to drywall dust floating all through my house. I’m just glad I found this out before using it in a customers house. I’ve just learned…. After extensive sweeping up of drywall dust or using it during sanding, I need to check the vacuum to be sure the filters not loading up. If so, I clean the vacuum and the filter out. The. I’m back in business. I do get longer sweeping time with the collector than without it. So it’s a bonus. I could see using a shop vac bag to prevent filter load up. I think it may prevent dust from getting out the exhaust. I also know that drywall dust will plug up a bag pretty quick in large quantities to….. so I don’t know if it would work or not. Also, bags are expensive and with my older craftsman shop vac I’m not sure I could find one to fit it. Over all for the price it’s a good product. Larger particles stay in the bucket better than drywall dust. So it just depends on what you’re sweeping up. I would recommend this product for anything other than drywall dust collection. I suppose I could buy another and try running two in line. But by that point I could have bought a dewalt catch system. lol. Hope this helps with anyone looking to buy this product.

Don't have room for a real woodworking dust collector so I purchased this as an alternative. It has exceeded my expectations so far. I use it 2-3 times a week and my shop vac filter is still really clean. I have it mounted in a stand above my shop vac which keeps the floor footprint to a minimum. Its been a great setup so far, but I have to be careful in that the dustopper plus the 5-gallon bucket are not very heavy and I've come close to pulling it out of the stand a few times. It may not be as good as a real dust collector, but it works great for a weekend woodworker like myself. Very happy with its performance and cost.

This product is a great asset to my shop. It doesn't capture 100% of the dust, but it sure keeps my shop cleaner. Hooked up to my sander and band saw. It does a great job.

Absolutely superb! Easy to set up and works like a charm. Nearly zero dust gets into the vacuum.

I took a chance on this as it’s marketed for woodworking but I tried it for capturing the dust from drywall sanding. Much finer than sawdust but it worked perfectly. I gave it a 50-50 chance and was pleasantly surprised. I use it with a power drywall sander that has a bag but they work horribly. This is the ideal solution. Sanded down 10 ft of drywall joint compound and no dust at all. This is brilliant. I bought a hose kit from Amazon to adapt it to my sander but it fit my collection bucket perfectly along with my 12 gal shop vac. If you want to capture dust this is it. Portable, works great, huge time and mess saver. If it worked on fine dust it will absolutely be a champ with sawdust. Great addition to the tool collection

Solo es el separador, trae instructivos e información donde especifica que el paquete siempre trae accesorios como codos, reducciones para las conexiones con las mangueras e incluso una manguera, pero solo enviaron el separador. Creo que se puede conseguir directamente con los fabricantes y sería una mejor compra y tendrías todo lo necesario para conectarlo. El separador funciona perfecto, los materiales son robustos y deja la aspiradora limpia.

I didn't know what I needed but the internet told me to get some kind of a dust collector to save the shop vacuum filter from clogging up. I used this along with a 5hp vacuum most of the weekend and I was very happy with the results. The bucket was FULL of saw dust and the vacuum itself was practically empty. This did an amazing job separating the sawdust. Very happy with my purchase.
