Well made would recommend it
Work well in power outage and last a long time. It is very durable for a back up power product.

Convenient Size. Works with my old solar panels.
I've been looking for a smart and portable battery that I can charge with my old solar panels. Price was a big issue. Amazon's Black Friday sale had what I wanted. This Anker Solis C1000 allows me to charge using two 250-watt solar panels (connected in parallel). The picture shows a test. I'm charging the C1000 with the solar panels, getting about 380 watts input. At the same time, I've plugged my 120-volt plug into my electric car. Obviously, this setup isn't going to get much electricity into the car because the C1000's battery capacity is so much smaller that what the car battery can take. But I was able to put nearly 2-kw in the car with the C1000 while the C1000 continued to charge from the panels. The car was getting about 1300 watts continuously from the C1000. Note that I did have to buy a couple of cables to set this up.The C1000 also ran my leaf blower (900-watts), my electric kettle and my TV without any problems.I purchased a "renewed" C1000 from Amazon, which was about 10% cheaper than the new-in-box version. The product I received was as-new, with all accessories. I'm happy with this purchase.

Would not charge
I purchased this and was depending on it performing well while camping off grid. It did not. It would not charge from my solar panels. Ruined my trip. When I returned home (northern Wisconsin) it was too cold to troubleshoot. I ordered another higher wattage panel. When it was warm enough, I tested it with the new panel. It took almost three days of full sun to charge it to less than 90%. Same result as the other panels. Since I had to wait to test it, the warranty ran out and the company will not replace, refund, or even assist with repair. Not even postage!I will stick to my smaller but trustworthy Bluette charge pack.Extremely disappointed

So far so good!
I got it charged up and tested it out and it worked great. I've got this for an emergency situation if the power would go out. I'm happy to say that after a month or so of being fully charged that it's still reading 100% capacity, so that's good to know that it's holding its power. I'll probably have to check it once a month just to make sure that it's topped off and ready to go if needed! :)

Anker C1000
Nice product but Power Charging Cord does not stay engaged. Should have a 90* Plug on end to help with the cord weight pulling it down and out of socket recess.
