Alternating Air Pressure Pad Replacement, Inflatable Low Air Loss Mattress Topper for Pressure Ulcer & Bed Sore Relief Treatment for Elderly, Seniors, Bedridden Patients

Purchased as replacement to the Meridian Alternating air pressure pump system. Connectors are the same & it works fine. I have 2 dogs & a cat that like to "visit" my mom and their toenails kill these things pretty efficiently.Tip: when attaching & filling for first time, lay it flat and once the pockets closest to the valves are full, use your feet (with socks on) to help move the air towards the other end of the mattress. This moves the fill time along quicker. I think the packaging may cause pockets to "stick" together & this maneuver assists in forcing air upwards.It came with its own hose (I did not use, the ones on the original mattress fit just fine) and a couple of round patches for small hole repair.It appears to be a good thickness and has remained inflated while in use.It's an excellent value when you already have a working pump and just need the replacement air mattress. This does not come with the pump! It's only a mattress & hose attachment.I will purchase again when needed.

No pump as it shows in the very first picture. I looked through the directions and it stated this package comes with a pump included.I did not send it back we really had to do some rigging with the hoses. We used tire plugs on one end of the hoses. We used a mattress pump that I had for other air mattresses. Even the smallest adapter was to big. It pumped it up but took a while to do it because the pump as not getting as much air because the nozzle was too big.After we pumped up one air chamber we hurried up and put one hose on and repeated the other side of chamber . The tire plug did the job however if I did not need it the next day because of surgery I be would have 💯 sent it back not just any pump works wirh it.

I go through a lot of these alternating mattresses based on I think what the kids have in their pockets and how sharp the dogs nails are.. I enclose these in an XXL sleeping bag to help protect them. This one has held up longer than most. It comes with a patch kit which I haven't seen with the other brands.

The instructions make it sound like it comes with the air pump but apparently it doesn't. I ordered this and when I received it and looked at the instructions it said to use the air pump which I didn't have. So i returned and re-ordered thinking it was a mistake but apparently it just doesn't come with the pump but there's no information about that anywhere.
