NESTLE TOLL HOUSE Premier White Morsels 24 oz. Bag

I ordered these white chocolate morsels for cheesecake. The chocolate pieces come in the yellow plain plastic packaging as shown in the item description. I wish to speak to the review below which said they came in no special packaging and were melted. I find it hard to believe that they were melted because it takes about 15 minutes of cooking on a double broiler to completely melt the morsels. They won't melt under the normal temperature of a UPS truck. Plus why would you think they'd come in a special packaging? It comes in the same packaging as pictured. As far as the taste goes, I think these Nestle pieces have an overpowering dairy smell and are far too sweet for baking. It's almost sickening. After my first batch, I quickly switched back to Ghiradelli white chocolate morsels. If you like your white chocolate to taste incredibly rich (not in a good way) and to have an overpowering taste of dairy, go for Nestle. If you like a more delicate and refined chocolate taste, get Ghiradelli white chocolate morsels instead (cheaper too at my local grocery). I can't recommend this product for cheesecake. Maybe it'd be OK for cookies.

I do a lot of baking and the White chocolate chips are definitely cheaper here. I didn't pay attention to the ounces when I ordered and the bag was much larger than I thought, definitely a good buy for that price.

I love the taste I used them for white chocolate and macadamian cookies. They were awesome
