Eagle X9 great for getting into archery
This thing is great for the price! Bow is sturdy & good quality. Arrows and accessories being included makes everything super easy. Would recommend! 35lb draw weight has just enough power without being tiring.

My first bow ever and already hitting quarter-sized targets
I am a beginner, I've had the bow less than a month and have only shot it less than a dozen times. I honestly spent more time prepping the target/backstop and reading about shooting a bow than actually shooting the bow. :) If you practice everything you are told; T-Form, Anchor point, raise the rear-elbow, follow through on the pull, repeat with consistency and you'll be pleasantly surprised like I was. That's a 5-shot group with one flyer, all at a quarter-sized target from 25 ft. The bow is great, the arrows are great, the kit it comes are great, the price is also great! This is also just shooting without aiming, but instead practicing Instinctive Shooting with a split-finger pull back! I keep my eye on the target, slowly take a breathe as I pull and once I come to full draw at the end of my breath, I keep slightly pulling "pull-pull-pull" until the arrow just leaves my fingers and continue pulling back and the arrows all hit where I was looking. The target was big, so I switched to a smaller target and actually got a tighter group, aim small miss small. Fun, light-weight, very quality and durable as well and the performance in such a short amount of time seem unmatched! It also looks great, like a work of art!

You will love the price and performance of this bow!
I'm new to archery and I purchased this bow totally on a whim. I figured for the price it was worth a try. The set comes with a good assortment of gear for the new archer and what you see in the picture is what you get. Once you get past stringing the bow it's mainly just a learning process. The only item not included is nock points for the string. I ordered some brass crimp on type. I wasn't sure how to install the string silencers so I was forced to unstring the bow, install the silencers and re-string it. Some reviews state that the included string is low quality, but I found it was okay for getting started. I have since replaced that string with a D97 string which is a little quieter. The bow shoots great, especially at 20 yards. I wouldn't recommend trying to take down game at 50 yards, but at 20 it's solid. I don't think the bow is too loud, but some reviews complain about the noise. It has a bit of a thwump when you let the arrow fly. I opted for some different arrows --not because these were low quality-- but rather they were hard to find when they go sailing out through the woods. I would recommend getting a different quiver and the wrist guard is uncomfortable. The glove fits great and believe me you will need it. My main advice to anyone looking to use this product is be patient and get familiar with it before you give up and say this bow doesn't work. Recurve bow shooting is an art. I'm not an expert, but I am much better than I was when I started. For the cost you cannot go wrong with this product. I highly recommend it.

Great for the buck
First, I want to say I love the bow. For the price it is really good. The bow shoots great. The arrows are meh... I've probably shot them about 50 times, and the fletching is coming apart. Not the best arrows but it works for some practice, but I am going to end up buying different arrows. Now for the bow stringer, that broke after my second stringing, I prefer the step-through method anyways. Also, the horsehair arrow rest is now coming apart, but that can be replaced easily. All in all, for 100$ you're not doing bad for all you get. I also got the 60lbs draw. The quiver is okay, I'm too fat to wear it around the waist. However, I can still wear it in a crossbody that does the job still. Glove is good, and the arm guard works great. If the arrow rest and the arrows didn't fall apart in such a short span, I'd give it a 5 star.

Great materials, just choose the right pull
Totally impressed. I'm 60yo and haven't shot in about 25 years. Received mine and immediately impressed with the riser's beauty and craftsmanship. As an average guy, I chose the 40# pull, which was perfect. If you are muscle-bound, go for the 45-55#. Couch taters should start way lower. It's not that any won't work, it's that you cant get optimal pull and accuracy without choosing the right limbs. Very easy to assemble. Stringing and silencer installation is fairly easy, but you likely will need to look up video instructions. (DO NOT try to wing it!) It comes with a stringer. Hit a bullseye from 30 yards on first firing. Only thing is lack of documentation, but that's easily available online.

The bow itself is a nice piece of work
The bow itself is very nice....powerful and accurate, but i had an issue with 1 of my limbs being warped, i had to return it unfortunately but i liked it enough to reorder the same kit....im a newbie and started with a 55 lb pull....everyone said noooo u cant start with that....but i dig it tell that to my grouping on day 2.....so i got my new kit, everything is fine execpt 1 thing....the string that came with it is not up to par, it looks brand new, but for some reason its like shedding and fraying, i thought it was animal fur at first until i realized what was happening...theres no way im returning it again that put me out of action for over a week, they said theyvwould give me 5 dollars off a 2 pack of strings which is 16 dollars......whatever im not going thru the return process again....and when i order more strings i didnt get theb5 bucks added to my irder, i dunno where it is, it didnt go on gift card
