Munchkin® Splash™ 4 Piece Toddler Plates, Pink/Purple

These kiddo plates are amazing! In contrast to round plates, the rectangle shape places all food within reach of tiny toddler hands. Simultaneously, their contemporary and sleek "bento box" style appeals to my elementary-aged kids, too. The sides are high enough to contain food, but not too high to block views of the food. They work well for solids and soups. The base of each plate has a non-skid rim. This does not prevent intentional moving of the plate, but it does keep it in place nicely with normal silverware movement across the plate. Finally, they wash great in the dishwasher. I highly recommend these plates!

Perfect plates for our toddler. They have a non slip bottom and are very durable for our toddler who loves to throw and chew on things. They are also easy to wash and cute colors. They are also a decent size for our 1 year old and deep enough to not spill food.

I rated the suction power at a 3 because these don't actually suction to the table. There is a tacky trim that keeps the plate from sliding but nothing that would prevent a child from picking it up. My son is past the age of trying to pick up his plate but we needed something that wouldn't slide out from under his fork as he tried to pick something up. With that in mind, these succeeded. It is a great little plate that is easy to clean and dishwasher safe. The sides are tall enough to prevent food from being shoveled on to the table as your little learns to use utensils but not so deep that you feel like it is a bowl.

It came in a pack of 4 which is a good amount needed for my 2 year old. I appreciate how sturdy and durable the plates are - on the plus side as well it does hold a lot of food!

I love the size of these plates and they are easy to clean. It says it’s dishwasher safe but I wouldn’t recommend putting in the dishwasher. I put them on the top rack and the plastic started peeling after a couple of washes so now I just hand was to make them last longer. They do not suction but they have rubber parts on the bottom that helps keep the plate from sliding all over the place. I also have the matching bowls as well. Great purchase would recommend depending on what you’re looking for.

These plates are very durable and have been used at least twice a day for almost a year now. Easy to clean - I put them in dishwasher on the top rack only. I know they are microwaveable, but I try to avoid putting any plastic in the microwave (even these). I have maybe used them in the microwave a handful of times, and one of the plates is NOT microwaveable. One plate has been heated up in the microwave twice, so far, but never again. The plate sparked immediately both times, so I think there may be a piece of metal in the one plate. There is now a burnt mark left on the plate from the sparks, so I just avoid putting them in the microwave all together. Also, don’t heat up tomato sauce on these. It will stain. Just like tomato sauce will stain any plastic when microwaved. I’ve learned that the hard way over the years. It does scratch easily. Not only from a toddler’s fork (we use the munchkin metal utensil set), but also from us cutting up food on the plate. So now we avoid cutting food on these plates, and heat and cut up food on our stoneware plates. But, to be honest, I would buy these again because they are a great set and have endured for almost a year now.

Love it! I was using ez-pz bowl/plate for my toddler, but his appetite has grown and those were no longer a suitable size. Plus the built in placemats were preventing him from getting bowls close enough to his body when drinking slurpy/soupy things. Then I found these munchkin plates (also got the bowls). They are a good size and have rubbery padding on the bottom to prevent the plate from skidding across his high chair tray since he doesn’t know how to use the other hand to hold the plate still yet.

Love these plates. Originally ordered a set for my grandchildren, but ordered more for myself! These work so well for transporting food from the kitchen to the dining table on my walker seat without spilling! My other plates and bowls slide like they are on a fair ride. So glad to have finally found a solution for a walker that cannot use a tray. Highly recommend these plates. They clean up so easy by hand, but can be put in the upper rack of the dishwasher too. Such pretty colours. They even fit my cereal and soup bowls for transportation too. Thank you again.

Prefect size plates for when your child moves beyond their first cutlery/bowls. Non slip works great.

Great size and colors! I was having a hard time finding an unbreakable, dishwasher safe, non-slip plate that my toddler also approved and this one was a winner! Bonus points for the plate depth because it's so much easier for my toddler to scoop food.
