10-inch Chef's Knife is a winner! Value and performance.
I have been tickled with the quality of this knife. No, it's not phenomenal, but the finish on my knife is quite good. In my case there was no need to take it to a stone, it was plenty sharp to suit me. Not a big fan of the handle, but it's standard fare for budget knives such as this one. In fact, the acclaimed Victorinox Fibrox is of a very similar style and uses the identical steel, yet costs more than double this knife. This is a true value, and I can tell you that at the time of writing this review, you can't get anything better for less (I've looked everywhere).
