Survived continuous operation for many hours as an emergency well pump.
I used this RV pump as an emergency well pump on shallow well (6' static) for weeks and it survived. Our 1 HP, 30 gpm well pump went out and I used this pump as an emergency pump for household water. It was able to maintain pressure in a large 120 gallon pressure tank between 40 and 55 psi delivering about 1 gpm at 55 psi. It survived many cycles charging the pressure tank. As an engineer, I view this as a difficult application because of the long cycles at higher pressures. It was able to suck up the water from approximately 8' without a problem, once a small air leak was found and corrected in the drop pipe. The high pressure shutoff did not work in my application, not sure why. The pump was a life saver and well worth considering if you have a well with water near the well head...

Great little pump, lots of pressure.
Pumping water from a 55 gallon barrel into a 4' garden hose, then to the pump, then 1 20' expandable hose. Works like a charm. Pressurizes the hose, keeps the pressure and enables me to spray a jet of warer about 60 feet. Highly impressed with the pressure and ease of cleaning the provided filter.

Replaced a newer pump from a different vendor... and this one works
Purchased a pump a year prior from a different vendor, and it never shut off when the lines were primed. I messed with fixtures, lines, a test bucket of water with a good attached hose... and that thing would run non stop until turned off at the switch. Turned the allen screw, tightened fittings, etc. It just ran non stop. This pump? As soon as I swapped the old and turned it on... it ran for about 3 seconds and stopped. I ran a faucet, it turned on. I closed a faucet, it turned off. I left it on for a few hours... and it never cycled on until I opened a line... just like it is supposed to. No longevity I can really speak to as I have only had it installed for a weekend trip, but very happy with this one so far. No complaints, at all.

It's a good product
It worked great with a short hose from the water source. Automatically shutoff as expected. I hooked up a longer 100ft stainless steel hose from the tank(thinner diameter as well) and it stopped automatically shutting off, despite adjusting the pressure screw through the full range. Water pressure out from this was reasonable so not sure what the issue is. I might have to adjust the setup in some way to get it to work... A remote shutoff switch would be handy for mounting outside a protective container.

Works good on water totes
I usevit to pump water from storage totes. It puts out as much pressure and my hose at home. Just not as much volume. Runs quite and doesn't use alot of electricity. It will run until it builds pressure and shut off. Once you start using the water again it turns on.

Pump review thumbs down so far with update
I liked the ease of installation and it wasn't very loud, but I haven't been able to get the pump to shut off without pulling the fuse. The pressure sensor isn't working. I have emailed the company but Janet recieved any answer. So I am looking for an alternative. I didn't get to installing it until 7 months after I purchased it. Not pleased with the customer support or quality at this point. I will update if I hear back from them. Update. The company contacted me and we are trying to work through the issue. They said they would stand behind it. More to come...... Update #2. I was contacted by the company but they didn't follow up with me hardly at all. I ended up buying a shurflo pump that work perfectly out of the box. Very disappointed that youngtree didn't follow up and either refund my money or send me another. I might have just got a bad pump and the product may be good. I don't know. My emails showed blocked the second time I emailed them. If I hear any more I will update this post....... again.

Perfect for Offgrid Shower and Laundry
I paired the unit with a 100 watt Renogy Panel and a small EBL Solar Generator and a Gaveenon Instant Propane Water heater and a 12 volt cigarette lighter style extension cord and ran the water line to an adjacent IBC tote to create a shower in the porch. All items except the water tote were purchased on Amazon. Adjacent to it, I put a portable washing machine, also bought on Amazon. The pump is on demand and works strongly to provide for all of my needs. This is my second unit because the first was outdoors and the wiring sheath is made with a soy based plastic that desert rats eat. When I went to replace the wires on the first one, I did NOT realize the unot jad internal spring loaded brushes. I thought it was brushless. So...when I removed the housing, the springs shot off into the sunset across the Sonoran Desert Wilderness! It was morw cost effective to replace it than sourcing springs...a good and solid unit!
