My Brothers label printer (P65) finally ran out of tape and these replacements are working fine.I was trying to peel the back off from the corner and was struggling a bit but then noticed that the backing comes off easily when folded in half for separation.

My Brother label maker is very old (20 yrs) so wasn't sure if this cartridge would work. It works perfectly. Great value.

Just received my replacement tape for my Brother Model PT-70 Label Maker. The Brother label maker uses M-K231 replacement cartridges.Pro: This off brand fits well, sticks well. Printing on the tape is good, just slightly different. See pic above - maybe the thermal printing has to adjust??Con: The printed label is matte not shiny like the brother tape. The off brand also feels thinner, not as stiff as the brother tape.Removing the backing: the brother tape is difficult but the backing is one piece, this brand is 1/2’d - basically you fold the tape in half and peel two pieces. It was easier than the brother tape to peel but I didn’t like a pressed line down the middle (the pressed line shows minimally when the tape is put on an object.Thought: if you remove the tape from your object - the tape doesn’t stick as well as the first time.I will be keeping the Fimax tape because my grand kids use my label maker and it was a good deal.

Worked perfectly in my old Brother label maker! Some reviews mentioned that the tape was hard to remove due to be in 2 pieces; however, if you bend it in the middle, it’s a cinch to remove! Would recommend this product!
