I am so thrilled to have this mat--I purchased the matching cushion--aesthetically it is really pleasing to the eye---almost starts your meditation practice before you decide to sit--at least it is an excellent visual to encourage you to sit for your practice. It is very comfortable and made very well--the fabric is sturdy. If I had one concern it would be when it comes time to launder it--the seams are only single stitched vs double stitch--just means you will need to be mindful to handwash and hang dry when the time comes to clean. I wanted a dog bed that was not synthetic, and this thing is perfect. I've washed the shell a few times, and its held up so far. 6 months of use.

I wanted to start mediating more often and wanted to make a dedicated space for it - which is why I decided to get this mat. It's large enough for both me (4' 11") and my SO (6'0") and comfortable for us to spend anywhere from 5-30 min on it without our bums or legs hurting. Since I just got it, it's hard to tell how long it will last but the fabric seems strong - the cushions may need to be fluffed up once in a while. In any case, I think this is a long needed item to continue to mediate more consistently. I'm happy that I bought it!

It is a well made meditation mat with a removable cover that can be easily washed, this is an important feature that I look for all of my furnishings. The inside cushion is filled with cotton in a cotton fabric cover. I use this mat for my floor dining set up. The mat is wide enough for perfect coverage when sitting in a cross-legged position. The cotton cushioning is sufficient for me but I am used to sitting on harder surfaces on the floor. I know that the product description gives a thickness of 2.5 inch but once you sit on it, the mat will compress and perhaps one will be an inch from the actual floor. This isn't an issue for me from a comfort point of view but I can see this not being comfortable for some people. The advantage of cotton cushions is that the body stays still which is not the case with say foamed cushion pads or mats that are thicker.
