Hasbro Gaming Classic Connect 4 and Sorry! Board Games

There's a problem here that few people talk about. Now, Connect Four is a great game for the little 'uns: anyone can play, and can there be more fun that winning and releasing all the tokens? It's like Las Vegas slots meets preschool. And Sorry? Another classic, and it works great as we're teaching our 5-year old to read, and the cards all have instructions / rules printed. The price is acceptable. However, the smell is not acceptable: the boxes and boards reek of vomit. And this isn't the good kind of vomit---the vomit of a loved one---it's the yucky kind (factory issue vomit). We bought these games and returned them because of the smell. If you've bought games for kids, you've smelt it, and if you haven't, go take a sniff. Now, our kids need these games, so we bought them again and the new games also reek of vomit. Are the companies intentionally scenting their games, and if so, why not use lavender or strawberry? Is flame broiled beef or faux-beef an option? In the same way that customers can select sizes and styles of clothes, why not offer scents? I'm not a fan of tuna, but even tuna would be preferable to vomit. Our Candyland also smells like vomit. And while these issues might be something about storage in the shipping container from China, similar to the rubber handles of my tools in the toolbox getting the vomitty smell after long periods of time, we'd prefer out own children's vomit over a factory vomit, so "unscented" would be a better option for us. Someday, we'll be able to upload digital smell to Amazon. Maybe by then, printing companies will find a way to circumvent these non-desirable smells. Until then, let us rise up and demand non-vomitty board games. Or strawberry.

The product seems to be made fairly well, not as durable as the original so far so good

Reordered this because recieved only the connect 4 game first order. Same delivery 2nd time around only 1 game. Disappointed!!

Came with connect 4 but sorry was not included
