Teaching Language Arts, Math, and Science to Students with Significant Cognitive Disabilities

There is nothing wrong with the book and it's shipping was done appropriately. The topic, however, isn't what I was expecting. It's definitely the kind of book professors would require SPED teachers to read and then discuss. It's not a hands on guidance type book.

Much of this book comprises discussions about how theoretically teachers can and should apply the'No Child Left Behind' policy in the U.S. and what an inclusive classroom means, how it has changed over the past.It helped with setting up appropriate learning & assessment procedures , but the readerwill also wonder if this book is really meant for students with 'significant cognitive disabilities'at times. Most of the suggestions are more suited for a moderate to high functioning student in reality.I would still buy this book , to gain a good general understanding of evidence based planning and assessing for students with special needs. The book includes some examples of practical application as well.

Good to my baby

This was a required book for one of my courses. However, I would recommendthis book to anyone who has an interested with learning disabilities. Very informativebut easy to comprehend, well worth the money for this book

This book has many good ideas to help differentiate instruction for students with significant disabilities. It is a "must have" book for teachers to use.
