Excellent sturdy product
So easy to install using a non solvent type adhesive just position over lights with cabling in the correct position and draw round with a pencil apply a thin line of adhesive just inside the line and press firmly into place they seem to have cured the discolouring of the ceiling. Mine where fitted in a loft new insulation placed around them and smaller pieces placed on top to cover. Simple

Do the job they're supposed to do.
Expensive for what they are but there is very limited choice available out there. They are sturdy and do the job well though. Cable cut out is good and let's the good sit flat.

Perfect for the job - good shape to accommodate light fitting
Great for protecting lights when installing new loft insulation. Square shape allowed for ample room to accommodate light and attachment which was at right angle to the light fitting. I secured them to the loft floor with gorilla tape rather than glue. Expensive for what they are but they do the job well

Expensive and bulky for most lofts
I needed these, but I absolutely begrudged having to use them. Firstly these are extremely expensive for what they are. It's effectively a glorified sealed flower pot. Probably cost pennies to make. Secondly, they're big. If you're retrofitting you might have issues to trying to actually fit them and have the power leads lay in a way that they don't pop up. I needed to fit around 18 of these and a couple of spotlights were even pushed below the ceiling due to the lack of space above when trying to fix these in place. I'm not sure what size I was expecting but you will have to break the insulation to go around them, you're unlikely to go over them (at least with the 100mm first layer). I am surprised that no one else has come out with cheaper versions.

Easy to install.
I say easy to install, if you are in process of insulating your loft. I've just installed a second set, to cover those downlighters I have mounted in inaccessible roof voids, which I could only do because I had the roof tiles off to relay at the time. In conjunction with the new insulation, seem to have cut down at least, the draughts.

BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY!
Very useful for keeping electric wiring away from loft insulation.
