Air Plant Magic. A Practical Beginner's Guide to Growing Tillandsias Hardcover – January 8, 2023

I got my daughter and granddaughters air plants for Christmas. After caring for mine for an extended time she seemed to enjoy it. So, I put together a Family Air Plant Starter Kit and included one of these books. I kept my own copy. Pictures of the plants and their growing preferences is very helpful. If you are as new to this hobby as we are, this is a book you will be glad you bought! After reading it once, it will be kept handy as a reference guide for future questions.

What a wonderful book and I learned so much

I received this book and have read it cover to cover and referred to it several times. I am new to air plants and this is a great beginners book. I have started making a list of future purchases from the pictures and wonderful descriptions in the book. Lots of good information.

I loved everything about this book. From the great price to the wealth of information contained within it’s cover. The quality and sheer number of photographs contained within its pages draw the reader’s attention and entice you to expand upon your plant collection.Andrew Chidgey has compiled everything you want to know about Tillandsias as well as answers questions you need to know about in an easy and understandable fashion. I look forward to his next publication. You won’t be disappointed.

This is a great book for learning to identify and care for Tillandsia. It contains lots of information with many beautiful pictures. As a beginner, I found info on my Fuchsii, which was not doing very well. After reading about it and changing the care routine a bit, it's already looking happier! I find myself better able to care for my air plants after reading this book!

As a grower of bromeliads for over 50 years I am very impressed with this great guide to the introduction, selection and care of tillandsias at such a reasonable price! I highly recommend it!

The glossary and FAQs are quite helpful for beginners. I refer to the species pictures and descriptions often.
