Hi this is a simple lamp base adapter, without electronic parts inside, it is physically change the contact, so dimmable or non-dimmable is not depend on this adapter, but depend on the lamp. Thanks!

Q: how do i take the ge26 light bulb out? what does it mean need to rewire? how many adapters are included?

This is for Gx23 2 pin florescent compact to convert to e26/e27 screw in bulb (standard type). You have to bypass the ballast and starter. Just hook hot and neutral to the wires coming from the socket. Put in the adapter and any light. I used them to convert from a 13w florescent and am using 8.5w LEDs that put out more light and use less electricity. Plus LEDs last about 3 - 5 times as long. NOTE: If not used to working with electric, maybe leave them along. Just replace the fixture.
