Bought these to start the Pickle ball play; its not too much $ to spend. Has rules book, light weight, easy to use , Quality is good for beginners. Comfortable grip for play. Over all a good recommendation for Beginners and ocassional play. Best part is the set comes with a bag and few balls which exactly fits the 2 paddles and the 4 balls.

I bought two sets of these, one for me and my wife, and another for my youngest son. These are the ones my son chose, as I think he liked this style better than the other style we purchase, but both were stylish enough for me. My wife and I started playing pickleball and bought this set. We aren’t super serious but still wanted a set that would be get us started. This did the job and was a good value. The paddles are strong and light and have held up well for several years. We set up the net on a basketball court and it worked fine. I would recommend this for beginners.

Our family has come to really enjoy Pickleball to the point we are now having family tournaments and inviting extended family and friends to join in. I even ordered a regulation pickle ball net for this summer in anticipation of our fun family get togethers. To make sure we have enough paddles to go around I have been ordering a set here and there when I can. This has given me some perspective on various brands and features. This fiberglass beginner set is all-around a nice quality set. I was impressed by the packaging as it wasn’t just a plain cardboard box like some of the other sets. It is a nicely designed and gifts Le box if I do say so myself. The paddles are light and standard size for a beginner though my kids and I (myself being a petite 5ft female) prefer the paddles with a smaller than standard grip. The grips have the typical ventilation and cushioning. The paddle itself feels well-made and is a fiberglass honey-comb matrix that allows for more balanced control. This is especially beneficial for beginners. The paddle designs are attractive and printed well. Time will tell how long before the print wears off with use. Though we won’t be using these for official league play it’s neat to know that these pass USAPA standards for play. The set included two paddles, four pickle balls and a nice quality storage bag. Overall we are happy with this set though it will be used more by the larger adults in our family. We would recommend for an beginner 👍🏻

Pickleball is a really fun sport but can be a lot easier to learn for beginners using these paddles which are made out of reinforced fiberglass to USAPA standards and come with a portable sling case. It has a unique sky blue gradient pattern with a rough textured finish printed directly into top most coating on both sides of these paddles adding flare to gameplay experience. Grip is made of a soft rubber texture that is both sweat resistant and remains quite cool when holding it up for long pickleball sessions. Each paddle is about 15.75" inches long by 7.75" inches width designed to meet standard sizing requirements for amateur level gaming. Along its edges it does have a plastic trim piece. They are surprisingly lightweight made of multi layered honeycomb and fiberglass printing wrap. While its not carbon fiber these pickleball paddles are durable to take hard swings and quick hits to their surface. After multiple games the printed panels does show light degradation but holds up strongly from its honeycomb grid that acts as a shock absorber. Both paddles and four pickleballs in yellow & orange color can be stored safely inside its protective carrying case which has a nice adjustable strap to lug around using. What I liked most was having inside padding with extra mesh pouches for carrying other accessories to games. This Mayboom pickleball paddle set is durably constructed from fiberglass & honeycomb and is a lot of fun for beginners learning to play.
