I received these 300-piece 58mm (2.25-inch) button supplies through the Amazon Vine program, and they’ve been an absolute game-changer for my little side hustle making custom pins. I’ve been using a 2.25-inch button maker for a couple of years now (the popular orange VEVOR-style machine), and I’ve gone through thousands of parts from different brands. Some cheaper sets jam constantly, the mylar is foggy, or the pin backs fall off after a week. This Koala set? Zero problems. What I love: Everything fits perfectly — no forcing, no mis-cuts, no wasted blanks. I loaded up 50 buttons in one sitting and didn’t have a single misfire or jam. The metal shells and pin backs feel noticeably thicker and sturdier than the flimsy ones I’ve bought before. I’ve worn a few of the finished buttons daily for over two weeks now (keys, backpack, jacket) and they still look brand new — no bending, no backs popping off. Crystal-clear mylar film. Graphics come out sharp and vibrant with zero cloudiness. Colors don’t look muted like they do on some lower-quality films. Instructions are short and actually useful (even though I already knew the process, it’s nice for beginners). At 300 complete sets (shell + back + mylar) for this price, it works out to pennies per button — way cheaper than the craft-store packs and honestly better quality than some of the “premium” brands I’ve tried. Only tiny note: they ship in a plain plastic bag inside the box, so I just dumped everything into labeled storage bins right away. Not a big deal at all. If you have a 58mm / 2.25-inch button machine and want reliable, durable supplies that won’t waste your time or money, grab these. I’m already planning to order another 1000-piece bulk set with my own cash because I don’t want to run out. 100% recommend!

GREAT quality. I really like the nice quality of the metal buttons vs plastic buttons; nice and thick and feels very durable. We used these as name tags for our class reunion and they were a huge hit and also a fun, nostalgic take-home from the event. Note that when it says 300 pieces, that means there are enough materials for 100 buttons because each button requires 3 pieces: 1) the metal backing with the pin, 2) the metal top and 3) the clear cover. There were no missing parts in my package and there were actually extra of the top clear film. I did mess up a few buttons while making them; there's a bit of a learning curve to using the button machine but that was user error. Just might want to consider buying extra if you haven't used a button machine much or often. I made my designs in Canva and had them printed at Staples in full color. You don't want the circle graphic that you print to be too large because then the crimping of the button doesn't work so just make sure you trim any excess circle off before you start to make the button. This made buttons that are 2.25" in diameter in size. Great value, super fun and created a unique gift for our classmates!

I needed some supplies to make buttons for a pre release. These worked great with my machine. Loved that it came with the gasket so the backs fit well.

Did not work, even with the green button maker tool. The button back piece is too small so the button maker tool doesn't adhere the first piece to the second. I have a different set of white plastic button backs that are a bit thicker that fit perfectly and work in the tool, but these ones do not. Completely useless with the current cheap, thin piece. The button backs also have a very loose pin that wobbles which is annoying.
