For years, I've battled persistent shin splints, a frustrating legacy from a major accident two decades ago. Even after returning to sports, especially the soccer I love playing once or twice a week, pain was a constant companion. Physical therapy, including dry needling and strengthening exercises, offered some relief, but the pain returned within about six months—likely because I didn't consistently keep up with the exercises.These bands have been an incredible discovery. The first time I wore them during a soccer game, I experienced absolutely no pain—it was truly remarkable. I'm now committed to using these bands every time I play, and I highly recommend them to anyone struggling with similar shin pain.However, I'm reducing one star due to concerns about durability. Only time will tell how well they hold up with regular use.

Product seems well made, it is just very small. I am an average female so my calf’s are not large. I want to try these for running but will need to try large.

Terrible. WAY too small. Could not even strap it. For reference i am a 5ft 8in female 170 pounds… When you strap it the Velcro scrapes across your skin. Did nothing to help my shin splints. Not even worth the hassle of returning but unable to use even once.

It actually worked. I’m very surprised considering there are so many products out there.

So the sizing listed by the company is inaccurate. The size small for the shin would fit an adult ankle at best. That said it is a bit tricky to put on. I find it easiest to insert the end through the hole before trying to figure out where you want it placed exactly. Also be careful not to get it so tight that your circulation is cut off. Hopefully you will receive a new clean one, unlike the one sent to me. Otherwise it basically helps.

I have chronic shin splint pain (flairs up within 5 min of walking, not even running). I've only used these 4-5 times now, but they work! I seriously wasn't expecting that but wow, these little bands do what they say they will. I'll keep wearing as long as they work!Note on size - I ordered a large since my shins are big (19 in at widest point). If you have big shins you won't think these will fit when you first try to put them on, but trust me, the band stretches enough, just give it a good tug - it'll be tight but that's what you need! It gets easier to put on each time.Final note - if you need one for each leg, you need to buy two, there's only one per package (luckily I read other reviews before ordering so I knew so just passing it on)
