Excellent product with good customer service
I received the blinds fairly quickly. The installation was easy, the valance provides a clean look. When I received the curtains, the remote did not work. I was able to pair it with my phone and Alexa, but could not open or close it with the remote. I contacted support and they gave me a few things to try. However, nothing worked. Eventually, they did send a new remote and I was able to pair it and it works flawlessly. It took a bit of time, but it was resolved. Therefore, I would say it is good customer service. As far as the curtains go, they are installed in our guest room that is empty most days. I setup a routine on the Alexa app to close the curtains at 6pm and open them again at 9am. It helps to keep the room warm during winter days as the curtains are fairly thick. I purchased white curtains with the back lining. They are not at all room darkening. If you are looking at room darkening, don’t go with white. I anticipated this, so it was not an issue. The motor opens and closes the blinds smoothly and the Alexa integration works great. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase.

Great Automated Curtains, Look Good and Work Well
It took me a while to purchase these, as I wanted to make the right choice. The curtains I installed were large in size, 156"x110". I started by purchasing the example fabric. They came and I liked what I saw, so I purchased the tan version, Youlax was good at responses and helping me at the time. Due to the larger height, I had to go with a custom size. I ordered with the faster shipping offer, they arrived on time, the correct size as promised. I was also refunded the money I spent on the sample fabric (I did ask for it). As you may, or may not have seen, the instructions are included, however not super easy-enough to follow and miss a few of the important things. The remote control instructions are in another language and there was no battery included, which threw me as I live away from stores so it took me a few days to go get one (why not include and charge $2 more). I'd say to be prepared to fail a few times, I did. UTube can help but I never found the exact curtain tracks. Either way, stick with it and it should work out for you. If you have a few items left over, don't worry, I had enough to put up a second track... Items to note, on my install: - White clips point out towards you - White clips can be removed after inserting using a long screwdriver to pop them out - End of left-side (underside) of curtain need to stop at the first hole of the moving metal closing joist - I had extra white clips leftover...a lot of em, and I had a full-width curtain - If using Alexa, you can create a routine that will close them by stating "close curtains", you don't have to rely on curtain on/off You may find it needs a valance, I did, as you may see the brackets if not. My only complaint was that when first used it, the motor fell off the wall every time. Closing was fine once I moved the curtain to the first circle and it quit falling off, but opening caused the motor to fall off every time, which as bad, as it't hit my wood floor...not good and I still have no idea why. I took a video and sent it to Yoolax, however, never got a response. I fixed it by hanging the motor on the other side that worked w/o incident. Not sure if it was a problem with the system or if I did something wrong. Still bummed they didn't return an answer to my problem. Spent time building the valance, the end result is appeasing and it works to keep the room dark when the doggon landscape lights come on at 5am, or if I'm trying to escape the world at 3pm :) Good luck, enjoy, these are good and, IMO, worth the money.

Easy to install with very little assembly.
I bought two of these units for living room and dining room. Most of the pictures show people hanging from the ceiling. I installed using the horizontal brackets. Installation was so easy...flip a couple of levers, stretch to proper length and flip the levers back. Of course the hardest part is insuring the rod is level...adjustments in the hardware helped with final adjustments. Mounting the motor was as easy as push and twist. Power Supply: I was a little disappointed in the power supply provided as the wire was 3 ft long. if you have a power plug at ceiling height that would not be an issue but for me I had to get an extension cable from the motor to the wall outlet. No biggie. Remote: the remotes allow multiple curtains to be connect to a single remote setup was easy to add both curtain rods to a single remote. Wifi/Alexa hook up: the manual here lacks a lot, but factory support was great to figure it out. To connect the motors to Wifi you have to push the button 4 times and on the 5th time hold for the led to flash one time and release after that the LED will begin flashing blue for about 30secs. It is during this 30 seconds that you have to get it connected. The process can be a little frustrating but the result is awesome. The motor is a Tuya and uses the Tuya app for connectivity. Once I had it connected I was able to connect and program the curtains to open at dawn and close at sunset. This is exactly what I wanted. Thanks to the yoolax team for support .

Great lower cost alternative if you need blackout thermal shades
I have somewhat large windows in my bedroom and the existing blinds (from previous owners) let in a significant amount of light at bedtime. Also, the size of the windows (+ the design of the windows) allowed in some amount of air from the outside, especially noticeable in the wintertime. I originally did not want curtains in my bedroom because I did not feel they went with the decor in my apartment; however, from a practicality perspective, curtains made the most sense to block out both the light and the cold. After much searching, I opted for this curtain, primarily due to price and functionality. I love having the ability to open or close the curtains simply by asking Google Assistant to do so. You also (in theory) have the ability to pre-program the curtains to automatically open or close at specific times (or even at sunrise/sunset). However, I haven't been able to get this automatic feature to work, which seems to be a problem with Google rather than with the curtain. However, it's easy enough to open/close via your smartphone or voice (or the included remote). In the winter so far I've kept the curtains closed almost 100% of the time, and I can certainly feel a difference in the amount of heat lost through the window. It allows me to run my HVAC less, which is helpful since I work from home and spend most of my day in my bedroom. In terms of blackout capabilities, the curtains do a great job of blocking out light (other than the halo at the very top of the installation where the rod is, as well as at the very bottom by the floor. Depending on how your room and window are set up, you should be able to minimize this halo of light. Only word of caution is to measure and re-measure everything, and read the instructions on the Amazon page before submitting your order. If you measure everything correctly you should be able to minimize the amount of light that seeps through on the top or bottom.

Works ALMOST as expected - No issues with Google Speaker, just backwards commands with Tuya App
I had my doubts about this but the team was very open to connecting with me ahead of my purchase via WHATSAPP due to the country calling restrictions. But they made sure I had everything I needed ahead of time for the smart install. We didn't have any issues connecting to our Google speaker (thanks to the WhatsApp instructions on pages 21 and 22), but there are some loose ends to tie up between the purchase and the receipt of everything. For instance, if I hadn't asked for the google speaker instructions, I would not have received them and only got Alexa. Also, It's not clear how you make two of the smart rods work together if you have a sheer set of curtains and a set of drapes - turns out you have to purchase TWO smart rods to have both that work independently of each other through the app and your speaker - you just have to name them separately in the app (we named ours "Sheers" and "Curtains" to differentiate the two) and then ask Yoolax for the extended brackets after purchase though the WHATSAP to ensure you can connect both rods together for install (1 rod for each set of curtains). One thing that was upsetting was that we did not get batteries for the remotes after such a hefty price-tag. You would think they would be. They require specific batteries (the round disk kind) and we were unable to connect with those, so we are still looking into the remote set-up. One final thing to note is that the "Open" and "Close" commands are backwards inside the Tuya app (this is the app that connects your smart rods to your smart speaker). So when we press the "open" or "closed" icon within the app it does the opposite. Same with the Google speaker since that connects to the Tuya app. Now, we have to literally think about what we want to say and then say the opposite to get it to do what we want. Overall, this was a tough process to understand and coordinate it all but at the end of the day, the smart setup was easier than expected and works. We just wish it used the right set of commands instead of the opposite! Good luck, ya'll! Ask a ton of questions and make sure you connect with them through WhatsApp to get the instructions and set up you need.

Great product and customer service!
Great product, great value. Dimensions were spot on. Make sure to measure twice and drill once 😃. Attractive fabric with excellent light blocking for my home theater. Took a second to figure out how to put the fabric valance together, but everything turned out great. Total installation was about 3 hours, including getting motor and remote control installed and synced. The app works great, and no problems linking to Google Home. Voice control worked perfectly right away. It’s cool that you can say, “hey Google , open curtains to 25%”, and it does exactly that! Excellent customer service with prompt replies to simple questions.

Love the result but installation wasn't straightforward
1. Love the result. I chose the fine woven taupe fabric. 2. The seller sent the wrong parts. But the seller was very responsive and sent the correct parts immediately. 3. The instruction was not very clear and took us some time to learn. For example, there's no recommendation for the spacing of the brackets. There were some trial and error in the process and it took more time and effort than expected. 4. Please note that the two ends will become lower due to the weight. Especially when the motor is installed. The instruction recommends the end brackets be ~10" from the ends. However I think it could be shorter to better support the heavy ends.
