PicassoTab X14 Largest Stand-Alone Drawing Tablet, No Computer Needed, Stylus Pen, Portable, 14 Inch Screen, Best Gift for a Digital Graphic Artist - PX14

I am about to retire and wanted to begin drawing again after many years of focusing on home and work. Previously I have used a Wacom tablet and physical media but wanted something more convenient and portable. I looked at the Surface and Ipad but I did want to spend so much money on what might be a passing fad. The PicassoTab X14 is a great product for the price and having used it I wonder what I could have gained by using one of it's very expensive alternatives. The build quality and screen are impressive and the pen is smooth and responsive. The Customer Service is responsive and fast. I had a problem with the pen and they replaced within a couple of weeks.The only criticism I have is that accessories have to come from Hong Kong. I recently purchased a pack of spare nibs and the delivery charge was not much less than the nibs themselves.All in all, the PicassoTab X14 is well built and fantastic value for money with excellent after sales service.

Edit - the replacement only worked for 2months.Orginal - Like the title says, the tablet just stopped working. Contacted the manufacturer and sent it back. A new one is in the post to me now. Will amend review after a few months with the replacement.

Bought for art mad child but wow it would be amazing for anyone. Tutorials and professional programmes easy to install.Also connects to Google family link if you want to restrict access

After a total of nearly six hours of use the pen stopped working. (not all in one day as I was getting used to the controls over a period of two weeks) Changed the battery. Still not responsive. The tab is absolutely fine it does as I want it to. I've watched troubleshooting videos. Their advice is to change or clean the nib as grease from your fingertips (two fingers to zoom in and out action) can affect the motion on the screen.Restart the tab, try a different project a different pen stroke/brush the pen is still not responsive.Amazon advice that the item to be sent back which is a shame as I do like the Picasso Tab very much, but it's only the pen that is defective not the tab. I will persevere with the pen for another week then I'll return it if it doesn't improveThe screen is light sensitive. I had to keep manually adjusting the screens brightness. No option to keep it as I want.Overall it's a great standalone tab without connecting to laptop.The price of £279.00 (before black Friday then £330 after) is good for amateurs who just like to sketch but you can't beat pencils and pens.

Well I'm re writing my review. Just over a year old and will no longer power on or charge. Simbans refuse to even look at it. Do not buy any of their products

Good tablet with a big, responsive screen. Excellent customer service and it should be noted that the tablet comes with a screen protector already installed and protective case. Recommended.

Was a Christmas gift and loved by my granddaughter. Unfortunately it wouldn’t turn on after a couple of months. Returned

This was for my son who is an avid comic-book writer. He has nothing but praise for it.
