Twelve South BookBook for iPhone 15 Pro | MagSafe Compatible Genuine Leather Wallet Case with Display Stand + Removable Stand-Alone Leather Accent Case, Brown

Update a month and a half later: I like this case. It is bulky when combined with the folio but the leather case itself is really high quality and attractive on its own. Unlike a review I saw for the brown version, I find the magnet attachment to the folio plenty strong. My only issue so far is that it doesn’t always charge in my car’s wireless charger - but it’s a finicky charger so I won’t fault the case too much. It’s a little thicker than the Apple leather case I have so that’a a factor. I get lots of compliments on it - if you’re on the fence, go for it. It’s not much more expensive than a leather Apple case and cheaper than that one combined with Apple’s two-card MagSafe wallet. I just received it today, so I can’t yet comment on its durability or function but I love the appearance and it seems to be a high-quality item. It’s a little bulky when the phone is inside the folio but you can remove it easily, using the removable magnetic case. It’s quite protective and I’m looking forward to seeing how it wears as the leather ages. Magnets are really strong. Folio cases are a different animal - they are a little cumbersome but I like the idea of a single wallet and the look of them. Will see and follow up after using a bit. Really great looking phone case.

I have previously purchased bookbook for Mac, iPad and several iPhone-models and have been very satisfied with the quality of the products from twelve south.. Nevertheless- this is my second purchase of bookbook for iPhone 15 pro from this seller The first one did not last very long compared to previous purchases from twelve south directly, but I thought that it might have been a ‘lemon’-product and therefore I bought another one- given that all the other products from this manufacturer have been of excellent quality. I must admit that I am very disappointed. I recieved this bookbook for only a few days ago, and already the leather is cracking up. (See picture) I believe this does not match the level of twelve south products standards and wonder how I proceed with this issue. I even question if this is a cheep copy. I would like to return this object, but can’t seem to find a way to contact the seller except in this review. Please contact me so we can resolve this. PROS: * Nice quality leather * Removable case fits the iPhone 15 Max well * Removable case attaches to MagSafe car charger (APPS2Car Wireless Car Charger) and holds in place while charging in the car * Magnetic outer "book" styled cover for the inner iPhone case has magnets that have the right magnetism strength (not overpowered, but enough to hold the phone in the case) * Outer case has slots for your ID and credit cards allowing this to serve as a minimalist wallet * Inner iPhone case can be stored in the outer case to allow both the front and back cameras to be covered when the outer case is magnetically closed, or you can orient the iPhone case to allow the back facing cameras to remain exposed at all times via the notch if you frequently take pictures CONS: * None for me - it does what it's designed to do

I’ve had at least 6 TwelveSouth BookBook cases. Probably more. They were the best for a long time. A few years back they took a step backwards when they went from plastic locking parts in the case to magnets. While the magnets have some upside they simply aren’t strong enough to work well enough. When the case is new, the stiffness of the leather leads to the phone popping out of the case anytime you attempt to use the kickstand feature. Even broken in it’s not much better. I never dropped a phone when the locking mechanism was the plastic tabs but I’ve lost count of all the drops due to magnets not holding. This particular case has a much more significant problem. The iPhone 15 ProMax has a minor design flaw itself that is exacerbated by the case. The power button is lower than ever putting it almost too easily accessible to the thumb. That’s apples issue. But at least when not in the case it does require some intentional force to activate the button. Unfortunately somehow the button on the bookbook case makes the button incredibly sensitive where nearly brushing against it activates it. Then to compound the issue, and this is the big issue- the magnetic clasp on the case partially overlays the top of the button. This leads to accidental activation nearly every time the phone case is open and closed along with many other normal use situations. Upwards of 50 times per day I find my phone off when it should be on, on when it should be off, Siri constantly activated which has led to all kinds of issues including many accidental voice memos and other actions from siri. Finally, the poorly placed clasp itself is stitched together insufficient. After only a few months use it’s falling apart. I use to happily pay the much higher price for 12South Products but this may be the last time. Im currently looking for a different solution but it’s hard to take something so expensive and trash it, even though it doesn’t work well.

I’m only writing a review for this specific item. I’ve used several Book Book case over the years for various devices and they’ve worked out fantastically. This particular item, although functions as it should and looks great, is grossly crafted. The magnet that holds the top and bottom together started to fall apart and the leather cracked in the bends. I could understand if it were several years old, but this shouldn’t happen after one week of use.

Piel de no muy buena calidad en almacén por mas de dos años, abriendo la caja la funda ya venia quebrada de todos los pliegues, incluyendo como ya podemos ver fotos en otras opiniones el broche simplemente se desintegra y el pliegue de atrás para el stand completamente quebrado y de ahí se empieza ya a desintegrar Lo único que vale la pena que viene en “buenas” condiciones es la funda interior pero el folio tremendamente mal. Es un buen producto pero esta viejo y la piel de mala calidad no aguanta, e tenido varios book book y este por mucho es el peor.

Great wallet

Está súper bien hecha, se siente sólida y que si protege el celular, la funda tiene MagSafe y no hay ningún problema con la adherencia, diseño muy original, solo es un poco gruesa pero la verdad lo vale por la calidad, te permite traer tarjetas y celular en un solo lugar y es mega práctico

I have always loved 12 South products. This is the perfect case for keeping my phone safe and being my wallet too. I love being able to easily detach the phone when I’m charging it or using it in my car. It’s great to have everything together. The case looks incredible too.

Had these cases for previous versions of iPhone, however, this is subtly different in that the outside of the main case is not smooth leather it is all suede with the exception of the spine. Otherwise, great case, very functional to use as an all in one phone case/wallet.
