This was an amazing set! It went together well and gave our 15 year old hours of fun! Having never done a lighted set before, it was a bit challenging for him to understand the lighting instructions, but once he got the hang of it, things went great!

For the record, I own and have built, far more real Lego sets and MOC's than most. I "used to be" a strong Lego purist. Recently, however, Funwhole has changed this whole dynamic. They are amazing! First of all, they do not "rip off" genuine Lego sets or published MOC's. Instead, they come up with their own sets and even specific parts. ...and these parts are of EXCELLENT quality, as good, or better, than Lego bricks. Furthermore their instructions are top-notch, printed with accurate, vibrant colors. And all of this is just the beginning! As opposed to Lego, that just provides shallow fronts to buildings, Funwhole's buildings are generally 3x as deep and enclosed on all sides, making them perfectly realistic. These outsides are incredibly well detailed and all feature hinged portions to reveal even more detailed interiors. Though I build them as static models, their playability for any child is without peer. And did I mention that all of their sets are lighted?!? ...and over HALF the price of Lego! So here it is in summary... With Funwhole, you get at least twice as many bricks, buildings 3x bigger (and enclosed), awesome playability and a FREE built in light kit for less than HALF the amount charged by the major brand. I am completely sold. One final note just to emphasize how great they are... they even provide a small metal screwdriver (for opening the battery box) AND a pair of metal tweezers to safely remove the lighting electrical connections without damaging the wires. Who does that?!?

This is one of Lumibricks', formerly Funwhole, first sets. It still has stickers and some minor issues with crimping on the lighting set. All that aside, it is still a great build with an amazing price point. This was my first set with lights and was a little intimidated by it in the beginning, but the instructions walk you through adding it in so it isn't complicated at all. All the little details make you feel as if you are truly in a hunting cabin in the woods.

First off let me just say this was so fun to build, it kept me busy for a couple days when I had the free time to put together. The detail is amazing and the value for money is definitely there. The pieces may be hard to fit together just give it a bit of strength for it to clamp together. Don’t let it stress you out. Some advice for the stickers, they are transfer stickers so when you put them against the spot that’s designated for them make sure to compress the area a little bit before removing the film so the sticker does not break or pull with the film while removing it. For the lights, the batteries do not come with. You will need three AAA batteries. This build is easy to build just takes some time anyone can do it! Definitely have some interest in trying this cabin out!

This was a fun build. I love all the lights and detail. The only thing I didn’t like was the cabin walls are a little flimsy. You really have to pay attention to detail, when making the walls! It looks great, though, when it’s done.

This is my first product from FUNWHOLE and I was very impressed with the quality of the bricks. They are high quality and snap together without any issues. Honestly couldn't tell the difference between these bricks and genuine Lego bricks, the quality is that high. The cabin itself is also very well designed and thought out. It looks great and every inch of space has something in it, like pictures on the walls, a fireplace with logs near, and a really cool bear. Just lots of fun things to look at when the build is complete. The instructions were easy to follow and I never felt confused on what I was supposed to do next. And lastly, the cabin is very structually sound, this kit is solid and I can move it around easily without worrying about it falling apart. This kit deserves five stars and if you want Lego kits without the price of Lego than FUNWHOLE seems like a great brand. I look forward to building more of their kits.

The Lumibricks Hunting Cabin looks great. I love the frosted look to it with just a bit of snow here and there. I appreciate that we got a molded bear piece rather than a brick-built one, and I'm grateful the dog has spots and a face. That's not always the case with Lumibricks sets (faces on animal figures). Building the walls is a bit repetitive and the connections feel a bit weak, but they get the job done. The lights are an added bonus, although I don't understand why the tree trunk lights up. This is an older set that's got stickers, but they weren't too bad to deal with. Still, I'm glad Lumibricks switched to all printed pieces in 2024. This set goes well with the other snow-themed cabins in Lumibricks' Retro House Collection.

As good as the name brand building bricks (Legos) but you get a lot more parts and pieces, it comes with the light kit and all for a lot less than Legos. We are looking forward to getting more of them. The light kit connections are very small and fragile.

Great log cabin set. It looks really good once built and has good instructions. The lights are great for the evenings and the bear is ace. Great value for money and fun to build. Plan to purchase more sets from this company.

Love this kit! This build was so fun to do. I will definitely purchase from them in the future. I actually liked it way better than Lego. The instructions were so much easier to follow, colours were true to the pictures in the guide. There are some areas in the build (the walls) that were a little frustrating but I like a challenge. Peices all fit well together and no issues that way. If you are looking for something a little more challenging or a great display piece this is the build you want!
