if you READ SELLER'S DIRECTIONS, you have no way of regretting this purchase.
This was revolutionary for me! I have been in this hobby over 2 decades. Never have I seen a customizable lid like this, and if cut properly, you can raise one side to feed or take the entire mesh off after install. READ BOTH SELLER INSTRUCTIONS 2x CAREFULLY before cutting. The paper copy is the same as what's in the listing details. Be slow, and compare with the pictures. I found that I can even reduce trickle noise by allowing the mesh to go under the lip of the hang on back filter. Never will I go back to acrylic or premade lids. This is perfect for any square or rectangle, fits any kind of media, and it will last forever at an affordable price. It is easy to install, but you need to be able to follow directions and use a little critical thinking. I don't know if the mesh is measured for each customer, but I must've received 2.5' by 4' at minimum. This is only a 20 gallon, and I have tons of leftover magnet material also. I chose to follow the instructions for the strongest hold to protect fish that might jump. It is perfect! It has just enough cling strength to provide protection, but not so much that it's hard to lift while feeding.

Easy to use and overall Awsome.
Very easy to install, magnets are strong enough, quality is nice for the price. Some of the bad reviews don’t make sense on this product. It’s pretty straightforward to install and sticks very well if you clean the areas you are putting them on properly. Anyways, 10/10 product, definitely buying again in the future.

Magnets ≠ Water
The installation was fine and it works great if you have a low maintenance system. Magnets can be tough to reconnect which can cause you to drop one side into the tank. Magnets and water do not mix, especially when housing life. Only usable once too. Use egg crate or a custom made top for a permanent lid

Effective But Setup Can Be Tricky on Larger Tanks
The **7.5 FT DIY Magnetic Fish Aquarium Anti-Jumping Net Cover** works well to **keep fish safely inside the tank**, but I found the installation a bit challenging on my **125-gallon aquarium**. Doing it alone required patience and some juggling. By comparison, setting it up on my **75-gallon tank was much easier**. **Functionality:** Once installed, the magnetic net cover stays securely in place and does its job perfectly. The mesh is durable, and the magnetic closure makes it easy to open for feeding or maintenance. **Material & Quality:** The netting is sturdy yet flexible, and the magnets hold tightly without scratching the tank. It’s lightweight but reliable for preventing fish from jumping out. **Final Verdict:** This **anti-jump net cover works as intended**, but for larger tanks, it’s best to have a second person to make installation smoother. For smaller tanks, it’s quick and easy. A practical solution for any fishkeeper concerned about leaping fish.

Great!
Works great! Comes in a big sheet of mesh and a long roll of tracks and magnets. You trim to size. Everything holds very well. The tracks that hold the mesh hold up really well. It's hard to push it together sometimes, but it means it holds up better. It doesn't say after it's been made which is awesome. My only wish is that it came with extra corners in the larger size. I have a breeder tank so it's long and has two openings instead of one long one. The support in the center breaks it up. So there's little corner pieces and I wish they would send 8 for larger sizes because larger tanks typically have a center brace which gives you two top openings versus smaller tanks have one single opening. Other than that this is a great product and I recommend it. Seller packaged it really well and shipping was on time.

Great fish tank replacement lid
This is perfect for what we needed! The tank we have didn't have a lid and we needed to keep our axolotl safe. My husband and I assembled it in less than 20 minutes!

No complaints
Works great! There's a lot of materials given to work with, so it fit my aquarium (20 gallon long) easily with materials left to spare! Magnets stay put easily too. Definitely a good cheap option if you're looking for a mesh lid.
