The PERFECT flipflop
These are my all-time favorite flipflops. They're super comfy, very well made, last forever, and are the perfect simple design. I've been wearing this same design by Reef for around 20 years. I've had to buy only 4 pair in that amount of time. The perfect go-to for minimalist traveling, wearing as slippers around the house - everything. They don't have that non-breathable rubbery footbed that some other Reef sandals have that make your foot sweat (I hated my other Reef sandals that had that). Instead, the bed is more of a soft foam feel - super comfy. I will say they are not the right flipflop to use as shower shoes as the straps are fabric and absorb moisture. Other than that, I wear them for everything. I typically wear 7.5-8 in women's US shoe size. Size 8 in these sandals fits me perfectly.

Best flip flops I've ever worn
I LOVE the Reef Ginger. I pretty much live in flip flops during the summer, and these are hands down my favorite model. Apart from being cute, they have great arch support and cushioning. When I buy $2 flip flops from Target, they are okay, but I notice that if I wear them for extended walks (i.e. > 2-3 miles) I get little shooting pains in my neck (at the base of my skull) when my feet land. This never happens with my Gingers, which are also very sturdy. I've bought some cheap $7-$13 flip flops (also from Target) that are literally glued together which leads the thong strip between the toes to separate from the shoe if it gets wet. They immediately become garbage when that happens! But that doesn't happen to my Gingers. I also have a pair of O'Neill flip flops that are hands down the WORST flip flops I have ever purchased. I bought them as "emergency" flip flops because I "needed" simple brown ones to go with my clothes while I was traveling. Worst investment ever. I kid you not: I walked around in khaki pants for about two miles, and the mere trailing of my pant hem across the top of the sandal straps caused wear and fray in that time! The two thin soles also separated at the toe during the first mile, which was beyond annoying because pebbles/rocks would continually get stuck in between them. Ugh! I repeat: Those O'Neills were hands down the WORST flip flops I have EVER bought. But I never had any of these problems with my Gingers. The Reef Gingers are cute, comfy, and durable. They last me at least an entire summer--wearing them all day, every day while walking an average of 2-3 miles/day. Not bad for $20 sandals.

Love
I have been in pair after pair of the black Reef Ginger flip flops for well over a decade now. When I first saw their skinny, comfy little strap and the cushiony, arch-supported footbed with durable rubber bottoms I was in love. I even love the little rubber Reef logo tag along the strap. They make me feel like a cool surfer chick even though I've never seen a surfboard in person. I live in the South and I pretty much wear mine from late spring through summer and into fall when I start feeling self-conscious beginning of October and have to switch over to proper shoes. I can get by with one pair every couple years, but they really start to look rough around the middle of that second summer. They casual up a flowy maxi dress and go perfectly with jean shorts or cropped jeans...and pretty much anything else. These seem to have been slightly altered from the models I've had in the past. Little difference in the fabric strap pattern and the pattern on the bottom rubber piece. No biggie. They come in whole sizes only. I'm almost always a 7.5 in shoes so I wear the seven and they fit to my foot great. My mom is an 8.5 and wears the size 8 Reefs and they look great. I don't think your heel or toes will fall off if you get the half size down. But I guess that is personal preference if you like to go up and get a roomier pair, say if maybe you have really long toes or wide feet. When I first slip a new pair on the straps are a little snug but they stretch to fit perfectly after one wearing. Just about as lady-like as a pair of flip flops can get.

Reefs are a great brand that have gotten a tad bit cheaper over the years
I think that these are fairly expensive for sandals.. plain old flip flops... But I needed some for a trip where I am going to be at the beach a lot and also walking in them a lot.. I decided to spend a bit more money and splurge on reefs I always envy on others. cons: -I think that they are a bit expensive and they are made a bit cheaper than they once were. Its sad when companies cut costs or dont pay attention to how their products are being made when they have a reputation on the line. I can tell from previous years that the material is a bit cheaper. -They look less expensive as well. These dont have as much as the reef look seeing that they are so simple you cant see any branding on them... - Reefs are rather narrow. They perfectly fit my feet, but I would never buy them for my sister without her trying them on first because they are a narrow fitting sandal... Its easy for them to make your feet look wider and bigger because the straps are so skinny, so if you dont have more delicate feet you should consider trying them on before blindly ordering them online. pros: - there is no denying that these are comfortable. They are spongy and they have a slight arch support that is hard to find in regular cheap flip flops. - the simplicity of their design and the thin straps make them easy to wear with jeans, and if you are lazy like me with skirts and dresses. they are feminine enough. - they are fine getting wet (which most sandals should be) -you dont have to break them in. You ever buy sandals and the middle part between your toes gets sore and you have to break them in? these are really soft and comfortable.. the moment that i put them on it was like i had them forever... nothing uncomfortable and the strap material is really soft and flexible. Overall I am happy that I have a pair. I might do some more research and buy a different pair of reefs next year that are a tad more exciting, but for the purposes of a good everyday flip flop these are comfortable and attractive I wear a size 7.5 and I bought the size 8 which fit well.

Llegó a tiempo y excelente producto.

Love these flip flops - so comfy and light. They got me through a week in Cape Verde on the beach and by the pool and have come back as new. Great brand
