Great quality for the price!
I love the chick feeder and waterer I bought from Roosty's, so when they introduced big ones I had to jump on it!First off, the instructions were very clear. My parts bag had ripped somehow in transit, but all the pieces were there. Assembly was a little fiddly, not all of the hanger pieces lined up with the holes on the buckets. Definitely will want to use a screwdriver for assembling those. My toddler enjoyed helping sort the parts and sticker up the buckets. As for ease of use, they were easy to clean and fill. I'm using the nipple waterers instead of the cups since it is dipping below freezing at night here. After showing them a few times, they figured out how to drink. I am happy to know I can use a tank heater when it stays cold here, that will be very handy. The food was very straightforward, however my silkie chickens seem to have issues using the ports. They are new to the flock so hard to say if it's because of the size or how vulnerable they feel sticking their head in a hole to feed. All of the larger chickens are using it no problem. In all, this is a great value. I can't say how the wall or fence mounting works because I have mine on pavers. I did attach the mounting parts to the buckets though, so there wouldn't be any open holes on the backs.

Not enough stars to give
This set was an "Amazon's Choice" so I gave it a try. I got the feeder/waterer set within a few days, as well as an email from John at Roosty's, giving me some advice on assembly and letting me know they hoped I liked it. Well I did. They are really well built, sturdy plastic, clean. The legs were a really nice feature and the mounting brackets are super easy. They wont cause any breaking because the box just sits down on them. I was really pleased.THEN! My package contained no wing nuts for the waterer. Oh no! I wrote to Roosty's and John sent me a whole new set in a few days. I wrote back saying I was sorry for any confusion and that I was happy to pay for the second set of feeders. John was so gracious, saying that they sent me the second set for my troubles and for when I added new chickens to my flock. Not only is the product really good, well made, worth the money, but the company is awesome for customer service. You want to get this feeder/waterer set for your coop and you want to do business with these awesome folks!

DO NOT BUY. Better and safer feeders out there.
UPDATED REVIEW. I WILL NOW BE REMOVING THESE AND NEVER USING THEM AGAIN. Today I went out and found that one of my pullets that is about 3 months old managed to get its head and some of its body, which then trapped it. It had to be between yesterday morning and today but I’m guessing the stress was too much. I’ve never lost a chicken to a feeder before and I won’t again. They note tough lid closing/fitting upon purchase but it’s been months and I still fight these lids EVERY time. The cups on the watered get stuck in a weird position sometimes and I see the water just pouring out of the bottom of the cup fixture at the base. And yes, you can mount them, but I have mine up on blocks as that’s an option too and somehow the legs don’t stay locked out? Find the feeder on its side every time it gets more than half empty. Recently put a bungee cord to hold it to a t post in hopes it doesn’t crush one of my chickens.Still 3 stars for keeping my feed dry, for a few days and getting my chickens to stop roosting and pooping in it.

Nice chicken feeder/waterer
These have held up relatively well. They make feeding and watering the chickens so much easier. Love that it came with extra pieces for the handles. My only complaint is that it cracked when the temps got below freezing and the water froze, but the crack is at the top so it’s still usable.

Okay for now
We put these together and out in the run about a week ago. Birds seem to enjoy them with no reported issues so far. A few things so far:The rubber gaskets. HA! Was this a literal joke? Because there was no possibility on this earth that we could get those gaskets into those tiny holes without shredding them up. Fix this simple, tedious task for us, please! The mounting clips don’t really work? I couldn’t get the units to sit flush/level when using the supplied clips. I tried both empty and units filled with feed and water. They don’t sit level, but rather have a forward tilt, or ‘sag.’My only thought is that this was by design for the birds accessibility in mind? I’m not sure, but I really imagined this being a unit I could hang on a piece of wood and have my birds food and water sit flush and raised off the ground. The clips have been the most disappointing thing part as this was one of the main reasons I purchased these units. Fortunately, I’ve been able to Jerry-rig it for now, but not sure on the longevity of my solution. And not to be petty, but the sticker you sent us literally didn’t have a single piece of stick to it. We ended up supergluing it to a piece of wood because we enjoyed it so much, but dang!

Love this set, perfect for ducks too!
Absolutely live this feeder and waterer combo, I'm using for a pair of ducks. They can be messy and quickly pollute not only their water but their food also, but this design of feeder keeps the food drier. I chose to use the cups for water and they can't swim in it so they are staying clean. Love this. Definitely will recommend!Water enough for about 3 days for 2 ducks, but they are big water consumers so I imagine you get longer with chickens. Food I'm getting about 2 weeks. My 4yo assisted with assembly and we had them filled in a few minutes.
