Finally a powerful enough switch to obtain some basic mastery over my lab. Who knows what's next?

yes, it's a nice way to switch between two different sources of L1, L2, N, Gnd but there is no where you could possible connect anything that could carry 100 amps or even 100 amps because of the screw connectors . The connectors are similar to what you have on the back of a 240v NEMA receptacle . You could connect 10ga solid wires to this ....maybe 8 if you put ring terminals on them . See my pics and you will understand . There is NOT WAY to connect 100 amps to this switch or even 50A. That said, for 20 something bucks it is a nice switch and probably good to switch two sources or devices that use 10ga wire , maybe 8 with ring terminals installed on the ends . Additionally, you wont be able to tighten down much on these screws...not enough to clamp down on a heavier gauge wire. Hope this helps

This switch is somewhat larger than expected, but does a fantastic job for what we need to use it for.

Great build quality. I'm only using it on a 24v lithium battery setup, to switch between battery charger connections and parallel the 2 batteries into one 3000w inverter.

I did not need the backup I purchased. the device worked perfectly.
