Haitian Black Castor Oil. (Original, 4 Fl Oz)

I have been using g castor oil for years. Recently learned about black castor oil and its benefits for skin and hair..This black castor oil is great! It may be overwhelming when first testing it because the consistency is thick and almost syrupy.. I haven't tried it on my scalp yet,but my skin. Despite its thick texture, it soaks right in leaving not much oily residue..I have had oily skin since I was a teen and it does not clog my pores..I use it on my forehead a nd under eyes like a serum..Its smells like maple syrup to me..I don't mind it at all!! There are some many serums or uses one can DIY with!! I will be exploring soon. If you are a fan of castor oil,this Haitian black castor oil may suprise you..Its a great product,and it's organic too! This oil is EVERYTHING! As soon as I opened it, that scent took me right back to sitting in between my moms legs as she would apply it to my hair daily and braid it! The thickness is perfect, the color, a dark amber, which is exactly what it should look like! My hair is so thick since using this and I have tried many many products. My edges are completely full. For years I had this annoying thin spot all over my hairline that is now undetectable! This is absolutely authentic and the results are amazing! Buy buy buy! I have 3 daughters, I’m getting more! Thank you for finally bringing this authentic Haitian staple to the states!

This castor oil is similar to castor oil back at home. The smell isn’t that strong, the results are great if you are consistent. I definitely will be buying more.

This is my first time using haitian black castor oil. It is a thick liquid that smells like peanuts but it very moisturizing. I bought this because I am a natural curly girl and I like to try new things.. I'm not sure if it "works" to stimulate follicle growth but I'll let you know later. 1 con is the glass tube that is inside the rubber nozzle fell out and broke in my sink, so beware that that can happen. I'm not sure if I would purchase again because I haven't it used this castor oil long enough to see a difference in my hair. I've purchased another brand to see if there's a difference.

I love this purchase so far. You can tell that the castor oil is great quality, it is nice and thick. I've been using it a few weeks now and i am starting to feel a difference in the areas where my hair was thinning out so it definitely seem like it is working.

Just like the lwil maskreti we use back home.. I love the rich, earthy scent and how quickly this absorbs. A staple in my regimen. I just wish bigger bottles were available.

This product is great! I use it on my hair weekly as a hot oil treatment. I have curly hair and it keeps my hair soft and shinny. It is very good for moisturizing dry hair and can strengthen your hair if it is thin and brittle. Not only is it good for strengthening the hair in a hot oil treatment, but you can also use it to seal in moisture. So after you’ve applied your regular moisturizer, add some oil to seal it in. This product can be used in many other ways, but this is my favorite and I recommend it to all the ladies. Even you gents can use the oil to help keep your man curls soft and shinny.

Good product, poor packaging. My product came intact and the top was shrink wrapped. I thought it was fine, until I removed the shrink wrap. The top was broken, I assumed it was a flip top the way it popped up, however the cap was broken. I now have to find a way to secure the top to prevent spills.

ImThe oil is ok for use, but I don't think this BC oil is 100%. The light colour and the not so potent smell of pure Black castor oil is not consistent of what I remember it to be. The consistency of the oil should be quite thick, the colour should be dark (similarly to pure sesame seed oil) and the oil should have a very strong roastred smell to it.
