Do not degrade when immersed in hot drinks
I'm addicted to using straws but hate using plastic that can't be recycled. These are perfect - they hold up to sitting in a venti-sized hot latte without splitting/coming apart, and can be pitched into the compost bin after use. And they're very pretty to boot!
