Excellent pens
Excellent pens for brush calligraphy. This is a small tip pen. The ink flows easily and opaque.

Excellent Brush Pens as Expected
I have been using these brush lettering pens for about one year, and they have taken my hand-lettering to a whole other level! I previously tried the Tombow Fudenosuke Hard Tip brush pens and although they are great for beginners, they did not produce the thin and thick strokes that I desired. These soft tip pens are very flexible, enabling me to write faster and more smoothly then with other pens. I use them on fine printer paper and my planner and they have not frayed. Some of the markers bring more ink than others, so make sure to do a test run on scratch paper before working on your actual art/writing piece. My main use for these markers is modern calligraphy dedicated to evangelism on social media, so I go through these markers fairly quickly. I still have two of these pens left unopened and I purchased them over four months ago. As expected, these brush pens are high quality and I highly recommend them. In terms of my hand-lettering abilities, I am at an advanced level but would recommend them to anyone who enjoys hand-lettering with an intermediate level, as they might be difficult to use--in terms of brush strokes--for most beginners.

These are the best fine liners ever!
I’ve been searching for a black, permanent, non-bleeding pen to go over all my colored pencil work, but I kept having the trouble of wax buildup on all of the tips. Then I found these, and as you can tell by the pictures they worked absolutely incredible. I have to wipe off the tip every now and then but nothing compared to what I was having to do before. They dry down to a matte finish, which is really nice so the outlines don’t stand out as something that shouldn’t be there. I would definitely recommend these for anyone who needs a good fine liner or a good black pen to write with.

Nice art tool to have
I used it on an acrylic painting I'm working on to draw fine lines for tree branches in the distance. Having gray and black in the same pen was extremely useful. Excellent product.

Lifetime of great handwriting!
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Love these pens so much!! Will continue to buy them for the rest of my life. I’ve been buying for over 8 years now!

Decent pens, but not perfect for everyone
I had high hopes for these brush pens based on the reviews, and while they’re good, they didn’t completely meet my expectations. The soft tip gives nice line variation for brush lettering, but I found it a bit too flexible for detailed control—especially for beginners. The ink is deep black and flows well, but a couple of the pens in the pack seemed to dry out faster than expected. If you’re already comfortable with brush pens, you might love them, but for me, they were just okay. Good quality overall, but not a standout.

Lots of ink. Tip doesn't get mushy for a long time either.
I have been making tons of flash cards with this pen. I bought one at first and it worked really well for me. I can make thick and thin lines easily and it looks very nice. I bought a 5-pack this time because I didn't realize there was so much ink still left in the first pen. A couple of other pen products I have bought in the last few years (for other purposes) worked very nicely but they ran out of ink very quickly. You won't have that problem with these pens. Also, I've made a ton of flash cards and the tip of the pen has held up well. The ink finally got low and I pressed too hard, I guess, and I think I damaged the tip to get the last bit of ink out of it. I'll know better with this new 5-pack. All in all, these pens are great.

Good quality pens
I sometimes make posters and thought I would try some different handwriting styles. An artist friend told me about these pens. I must say I like how the sit in the hand, and write, and I find myself using them for other things. They seem to last a long time too.
