More or Less: A MathStart Picture Book About Comparing Numbers for Kids (Ages 6-10)

We used this book for our math curriculum. It really helped my students understand greater than and less than. It has a fun plot, too!

I enjoyed this book. It is a great addition to my math start classroom library and I am sure it will be a big hit with my students.

We adore these Math Start books as living books in our elementary education to teach math concepts! The physical application of concepts in the story helps me as an educator come up with better activities to apply new concepts! The illustrations are beautiful and the books are to the point and uncomplicated. Love these as a resource to introduce new units!

Thank you for your prompt service. I really like using math books in class to help promote math vocabulary. I like this book more because students have some difficulty comparing numbers and this book comes to there rescue. This book is fun and helpful with number comparisons when used in an interactive setting. For the less part - if you don't have this in your lower level math class - you have one less book than you should.

I love this series for teaching math via literacy. Engaging stories that keep my four year old's attention and lend themselves well to additional activities to consolidate concepts.

Used this book for a demo lesson in my education class. The teacher and class loved it! Can be easily adaptable for ages 6-9. The book also offers activities for teachers to use, which is a plus!!!

This book is about guessing age through questions. Its not as effective at enforcing greatter then or less then because it does not use the signs. However, its a fine book for reading on the topic and it is engaging to the kids.
