Nice Cut
A relative gave me one piece of advice which I already knew from being a retired Design and Technology teacher: check the fence. A lot of saws come with a short fence, this one locks at both ends ensuring a straighter cut and not a tapered one as the fence moves. Some reviewers commented on the noise. It does switch on with a bit of a jolt but I found ear protection to be optional having previously used proper professional saws in schools and a wood factory. When you buy, invest in a replacement blade with finer teeth. The supplied one is very coarse. Okay as a rip saw but not for cross cut or boards. Easy to assemble and the only problem I had was setting the measuring scale to zero. Fiddly but doable. Having wanted one of these for many years I wish I'd bought one sooner. Highly recommended and a good price.

Decent but VERY loud
This saw took around 45 minutes to an hour to put together, nothing too stressful, just a few bolts and it's up. It's fairly sturdy, provided the rear leg supports are positioned correctly, there shouldn't be any issues with it toppling over. The main reason I bought this saw was the full length fence, all of the other saws around this price point seem to come with those cheap 2/3 length fences. The fence clamps on the back end and there's zero wobble from what I can see, provided you measure on both ends of the blade before cutting, it should be straight as an arrow. The blade was set accurately out of the box which saved me a lot of bother in the setup. The blade guard is a little annoying, it seems to catch on the work piece rather than allowing it the slide under. The only major issue I have is that it's a very loud tool, it's like a jet engine taking off, you 100% need hearing protection, even if you're only doing one cut and make sure you're not using it at a time that will bother the neighbors. Also, make sure you connect your dust extraction! shop vac, cyclone, whatever you have, if you don't have one, get one. I used it without anything plugged in and my whole shed was covered in dust after a few cuts. Save yourself an hour of sweeping, plug it up :)

It’s a great product.
Purchased these saws on line before but this one was so easy to put together and one of the reasons I purchased this one it has a full length front measurement guid and a full length guide plate. Great saw for the money.

Good cutter
Flimsy , but did the job ok, as long as you don't a lot to do, it's ok.

Lumberjack TS250SL 250mm Table Saw with side extensions
I have to say that I was very dubious about buying this product due to so many conflicting reviews. But after a bit of research this make came up as one of the top two so I decided to take the plunge. When it was delivered I was a bit surprised on the weight of the box and wondered if anything was missing, however after opening the box it became evident why. Bar the leg uprights and the side extensions it was all hard plastic. and wondered if I had made the right choice. Assembly was very easy and once all put together surprisingly very sturdy. The slide guide seemed solid if left in the grooves but if you extend to the extension part you need to clamp it down if you are cutting heavy thick wood like a worktop. When I put it to the test I had no problem cutting a 3 inch worktop, it fact it sliced through it like a knife through butter and produced a better cut than expected, with no scorch marks at all. It is ok for DIY work and I am happy with my purchase. Not something I would expect a professional would buy and one can't complain about the price.

I am an ex professional wood worker and engineer these are fine for me now.
as i am now retired i no longer need have the space or money for a large cast iron wadkin or white machine. all i do now is light wood working my hobby. now I have used site saws in the past costing over double of this machine and working no better. putting this together ready for use 1,1/2 hrs maXDS A TEN YEAR OLD COULD DO IT WITHOUT LOOKING AT THE INSTRUCTIONS./ my warning be careful tightening the top leg bolts they are easy to strip but the rest is a fine usable little machine this will see me out of my working days. for just over £100 its cheap as chips.. get one bought. and if you can not put it together get your 10 year old son or daughter to do it for you.
