This shipped fast and was well-packed. There are two modes on this alarm: on or off. This means you can write a simple routine on your Alexa app, plug it into an Alexa-compatible smart plug, and voice-activate the siren. You can be creative with the command if you like, but a basic, "Alexa, turn on insert-device-name-here!" and "Alexa, turn off insert-device-name-here!" is enough to get the job done. It's loud and attention getting, really hard to imagine any intruder continuing to remain in the garage with this going off. I'm working with positioning and fastening it down, so there's a little work to be done in getting it all dialed in. Seeing something alarming on an outdoor camera, you can let your Echo device know to unleash Alexa in psycho mode and get rid of any intruder. This is pretty good security for this price.
