Good rechargeable battery, also would recommend a compatible battery charger that not only charges but also discharges the battery. This battery also holds the charge very well, highly recommended.

So far, the EBL Rechargeable D Batteries are working fine. The real test will be down the road after they have been discharged and re-charged multiple times during normal use. Right now, they are working great. Ask me again in six months though after I can give you a much better evaluation.

Bought a 4 pack of high capacity EBL Ni-MH D Cells on Amazon at an excellent price. Make sure your Battery Charger has a setting for Ni-MH batteries as the charging voltage and current is not the same as for NiCad batteries. High capacity Ni-MH batteries can have 2-3 times the power capacity of Ni-Cad batteries but they cost and weigh more, so be sure to consider how you will use the battery before you order. EBL Customer Service is prompt and helpful. I came away a satisfied customer.

They work great! They take a while to charge, but then they hold their charge for months. We use them for our electronic locking dog door.
