Excellent planting spade. Everyone should have one. It cuts the earth well with the lightly serrated edge on the one side. The pointed shape makes digging so much less labour intensive. I never use a traditional spade anymore. Super Spear and Jackson quality and very well priced.

Love this spade. Great digger, very sharp if like me you're having to go through a lot of roots and the folded tops for your feet are very welcome and saves your arches from the spade edges that hurt in the end. I dislike very tall spades and found this to be a perfect compact size for me. Nice to have a wooden handle too. Quality all round and really good price.
