Excellent Micro-cut Paper Shredder
I haven't had a paper shredder for some time, I have only had it for about 3 weeks but found it to be excellent in all aspects including shredding quality easy emptying, just to be on the safe side I try not to use it as much as 10 sheets at a time. I've found it to be durable and the capacity is not ideal for business use but great for what I require. Would recommend this shredder and have found it to be good value for money.

Great domestic/small business shredder
Works well - it does take several pages at a time (including staples - which saves a lot of time taking them out). Note that if you have a pile of shredding to do, it will overheat after several minutes. This happened to me a couple of times - a red light comes on and it stops. I just had to get on with other tasks whilst it cooled off. A good strategy would be to shred little and often!

The "Bulldozer"
I bought this to shred years of papers and sensitive documents I had been keeping. It took me a few days to finish the job, but I am glad I invested in this. It works perfectly. The only thing is that it is quite noisy, especially each time it finishes shredding a set of pages. It feels very sturdy and well-built. Even after shredding hundreds of pages over a few days, it did not slow down. It is a great investment for keeping your information safe. A piece of advice: Have your papers ready so you can keep feeding them in without stopping. I found it worked best when I put in sets of 3-7 sheets at a time. It can accept more pages, but as paper thickness varies, it is best to play it safe. Now I have made it part of my routine to shred sensitive documents regularly.

Good value
A compact unit, very easy to use, wouldn’t put more that 6 sheets in as the sides stated to curl.

A very good machine and cost worthy
It is a very good looking machine, very fast and easy to use. It is easy to empty, the controls are easy to use and it has several safety features, the main feature is that you could not put the pieces together so your privacy is guaranteed an d the price is very good.

Not a bad shredder, but could be better
Not a bad shredder, however, as a P4 device, I would have expected that the cross-cut size of the shedded material to be somewhat smaller, say about 4mm by 8mm rather than the 4mm by 25mm pieces it produces.

Great paper shredder. Work well and shreds multiple sheets of paper at a time. After a short time I had to disassemble the unit and resolder a cold solder joint. Has worked fine ever since.

Paper Shredder for Home Office, VidaTeco 10-Sheet Cross-Cut Shredder with US Patented Cutter, Also Shreds Card/CD/Clip, Paper Shredder for Home Use Heavy Duty, Durable with Jam Proof, 3.9-gallon Bin(ETL) The shredder comes securely packaged in a brown recyclable cardboard box. Inside the box, the shredder is further. Cushioned by Styrofoam. Unfortunately, and my area Styrofoam is not recyclable. The shredding head is packaged inside of the trash bin portion of the shredder to take up less space. Looking at the top side of the shredder, there is a silver sliding switch that has three positions. Left is auto for automatic shredding, the middle position is off, and the right side position is a reversing function, in case you get something stuck. Stuck. The top of the shredder also has an indicator LED that glows blue when it is plugged into power and will turn red if you have to overheat the shredder. Crossed the middle slightly to one side is the slot for the paper to be shredded. They have a whole bunch of universal symbols. Marked no as in. Do not do this. Don't let kids play with it, don't put your hands in it, don't let your hair into the slot, don't try to shred aerosol devices and don't let your clothing in the slot. They also note on the lid that this is a maximum of 10 sheets. On the lower half of the lid underneath the shredding slot is a location for you to put credit cards to be shredded. The lid also has a customer service email printed right onto the top. That's a very good idea. In case you should ever run into problems. Along one side of the lid near the electric plug is a built-in handle that folds flush so that you can lift it up to easily pull the top from the base. This will make dumping out the trash easier. Looking at the garbage can portion, this looks very much like a small office or bedroom style can with one exception. Exception. Along the middle of one side of the lid, there is a little slot cut with a finger plastic that sticks up to hit a switch inside the lid when it is set on top of the can properly. This is a safety so that it cannot be operated with the lid removed. The front of the can has a small window about 3x4 of clear plastic so you can see how much shreds have built up. That way you can empty the can before it fills up too much. Looking at the instruction manual, everything seems fairly straightforward. The instructions do talk about using it to shred CDs, even though the top of the shredder doesn't say anything about that. There is one unusual notation in the instructions, they tell you not to lubricate the shredder. This is a new one for me, I've never seen a shredder that doesn't need to be lubricated upon occasion, but the manufacturer says this one does not. The instructions also note that this has a duty cycle with 3 minutes on and 40 minutes off. It also notes that this unit is equipped with thermal protection so that if it overheats it'll stop automatically and then resume after it cools down. The instructions also note that this unit is designed to shred up to 10 sheets of standard A4 paper, one credit card at a time or one CD/ DVD at a time, or one junk mail. I'm not certain how they are measuring their junk mail, but I would recommend removing it from the envelope and shredding it piece by piece rather than throwing a fat envelope of junk mail in there at once. The instructions go on to say that this unit will not shred continuous forms, adhesive labels, transparencies, newspaper, cardboard, or laminates. It also will not shred file folders, x-rays or plastic other than the CDs and credit cards noted above. The instructions go on to say that there is a 12-month warranty from date of purchase, and that for warranty they require you to keep a receipt of the purchase and the original packaging.(( I've noticed this with several manufacturers lately, they require you to keep the original packaging. Am I supposed to have a room full of nothing but empty boxes? Receipts? I can understand but packaging seems a bit over the top.) Underneath the lid (the business side) the shredding teeth seem to be sharp and numerous. There's actually a small piece of paper stuck in the teeth where they have tested it in the factory. After using the shredder to do a small pile of home paperwork, she says that she likes the way it shuts off in between pages. She also likes the handle on the top because it makes it easier to lift off the top and empty the waste basket underneath. The window in the side of the wastebasket is smaller than our old one, but it is still big enough to see when the wastebasket is getting full. Even though this is a cross-hatch shredder, some of the little slivers of paper are as long as an inch and a half, and some are as long as 3-in pieces, but most of them are much smaller.
