The plastic clips on these grip very well and holdup (pun intended). The elastic is reasonably thick and durable. I can tell it will take years before these stretch and become loose. The material feels a little rough on my skin; more so than some other suspenders I have, but they are still comfortable and I believe these are more durable. For the money, these are great value. If you’re on the fence, buy these and you won’t be disappointed.

As a rapidly expanding man, a belt just doesn’t always cut it unless I want to cut off circulation to my lower half, so I bought these to try out, mostly for Work. These are very comfortable and stretchy, and they do move with you throughout the day, which is nice; however, they do tend to loosen up throughout the day, so I find myself having to tighten them up periodically; however, that’s very easy with the way that they are designed. You can easily just tighten them up while wearing the clips. Although plastic, the clips are very strong, and I haven’t had any problems with them failing or cracking; these are quite frankly a game changer for me. now I don’t have to worry about having plumbers crack while bent over working on my machinery and my fellow employees appreciate that. I did end up buying some other pairs for work that are a little more durable, but these are still probably the most comfortable ones on my shoulders as they are a softer, stretchy material. The price on these is also very good. You can’t really beat it for what you get.

I want to throw my full support into the ring. I have worn suspenders in the past with metal clasps. They were not reliable, damaged car seats and came off. These suspenders have solved all those problems. They have never come off and their clasps are top notch and lower profile. I’ve purchased other colors now. Love them.

I bought these for my other half, as belts are no longer effective and they’re also uncomfortable for him. He absolutely loves them, and so do I. They keep his pants in place much better than his belt did. He says he will never go back to wearing belts, and I hope he means it. We both appreciate that he can wear them “hidden.” Because of the stretchy and soft material, they don’t pinch or scratch, so he almost exclusively wears them under his shirts. The clasp strength is very good. He has had only one instance of clasp slippage. The adjustability is satisfactory. These were a good value for the money. Not only do I recommend them, I will be ordering additional pairs, myself. Because he wears them every single day.

The elastic straps are comfortable and the plastic tabs are strong and sturdy. Buyers should be made aware that the plastic tab cannot be spread wider to allow for grabbing thicker material. The 'slot' allows for typical fabric thickness and when you pull the lever down it pinches the fabric within the slot. As indicated the tabs are sturdy and grip the fabric very well. I point out the slot in the tab because I had planned to use these suspenders to hold up my cycling shorts that have an elastic band which are not holding up my shorts as well. Thankfully these suspenders work great! I'm happy with my purchase.

I recently purchased these suspenders hoping for a lighter gray, as shown in the online photos. Unfortunately, the actual color is significantly darker, more akin to a charcoal gray. This was a bit disappointing as it doesn't quite match what I was expecting. On the positive side, the fabric feels sturdy and the clips seem robust and well-made. They definitely feel like they can handle some wear and tear. However, the plastic adjusters give me pause. They feel a little flimsy, and I'm not entirely confident about their long-term durability. Only time will tell if they can withstand repeated adjustments and use. Overall, while the construction of the fabric and clips seems promising, the inaccurate color representation and potentially weak adjusters leave me with mixed feelings. If the color was more accurately depicted, I'd be much happier with this purchase.

I delayed writing a review so I could see for myself how sturdy these suspenders were. Now that my husband has worn these every day for 9 months, I can say they are great!! The clamps really grip his jeans well. The only time they come off accidentally is if he’s wrestling with our dog. Easy to adjust and they stay in place. Very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend.
