Great product! BIG pieces with very little powder. Perfect addition to my potting medium. I won’t buy big box store ground up perlite ever again. I’m very pleased with moisture and drainage. Good products make a big difference in plant growth and health.

I've read quite a few of the reviews for this perlite and notice that the size of the product available to the seller must vary somewhat. My personal experience with my purchase so far has been 100% great. The order arrived on time and was shipped well contained in a sturdy plastic bag inside of a box. I first opened the bag while it was still in the box and I was amazed at the size of this perlite.. I think it's bigger than what's pictured in the listing of it. I love it!! I washed it outside on a cement surface in big plastic strainer bowls and there was MUCH LESS dust than any other perlite that I've ever used (and I've used a lot). I expect to be buying any future perlite here. This chunky perlite is extraordinary. My thanks to the sellers.

The first order was perfect, the second order was HUGE perlite, super chunky and not appropriate for my aroid and monstera substrate mix. The first order was a size 4 and perfect for for chunky mixes for aroids and monsteras. Some powder, but not a lot. It was clean and works well for drainage. I don't know what the size of the second order (I reordered the exact same product) is for. At the correct size (4), it aerates the soil and keeps the soil from staying too wet, has no smell, and had very little dust. I am going to give this seller one more try.

I’ve been looking for large perlite/ pumice stone! This has been an amazing addition to my soil mixture! So if you like a chunky soil mix I highly recommend this! I will be buying again!

Chunky Perlite as described. There were a few colored ones but I don't mind as long it gets the job done. It was wrapped in a bag in a box. Some dust content but isn't as much as the smaller sized perlite I would usually get elsewhere. I add this to my semi hydro set up. I love using the chunky perlite because it doesn't just get all over the place when I add it to my homemade pon. Especially when I have to repot it. Also, gives great drainage. Highly recommend!

Normally these are a good size but this time they were huge. Too big to be used for my plants. So I had to return it.
