I had a previous version of this, it lasted for about five years of regular use before I accidentally threw it out a window (it slipped off the windowsill, and in trying to catch it I instead just open-handed served it). Before it's unfortunate defenestration, it was in perfect working order. It may still be, I never recovered it. I was unhappy that this replacement is more expensive, but on receiving it I realised it was totally worth it. The quality is better, the shaver feels more solid, the sliding power switch has been replaced by a soft-touch button, it's now water resistant and can be used in the shower or rinsed off (which is extremely helpful for an item used to shave hair, makes cleaning a lot easier), and the interchangeable graded combs feel far more sturdy and secure on the shaver head. The weight is good, it doesn't feel cheap. It cuts really well, for hair on the head, face, body, or more sinister places. One of the combs is labelled "intimate", and the packaging has a guy clearly aiming it at his playpark, but I've no idea how it functions any differently from the others, shave as I might. Haven't charged it yet, despite moderate use since buying a couple of weeks ago. Battery life seems great so far. I've noticed some reviews claiming it's shipped with a plug unsuitable for use in the UK. It's funny that this needs pointed out, but rest assured, this electric shaver comes with an electric shaver plug. Yes, a standard electric shaver plug. The kind you plug into those low-voltage sockets in hotel bathrooms, the only kind of socket ever found in a bathroom because of safety standards. The same plug you'd find on an electric toothbrush. If you want to use it with a UK three-pin socket, or any socket not a low voltage shaver socket, you'll need a standard shaver-to-three-pin adapter, the kind you likely have for any previous shavers or electric toothbrushes. In short, really pleased with this. Recommended.

Decent shaver

So far so good, it is nicely manufactured and feels like it is good quality. It is compact and a very handy size. It does come with a rather bewildering array of accessories, I think I would need to read quite an extensive manual before becoming properly qualified to select the correct one for the correct job!

Took my time researching what models online from reviews and online self cut video’s to know what to look out for available from various brands. I made s as short list of three various band and their respect models of interest. I already have other items from Braun and as a German brand they’ve been as reliable as you’d expect them to be. I’ve not used any other hair clippers before to compare with so this my first time experience I’m commenting on. This hair clipper set is easy to use.... it’ll only be operator using it that lets you down.... so that’ll be you then - lol. Very satisfied with my first self cut on my now ever balding & thinning hair on top. This model set came with a handy storage drawstring bag and that will come in handy if I decide to take it on my travels after the darn covid pandemic is over. This unit is not bulky in the hand, and is comfortable when using which is good. The battery power longevity in use is very good, and the attachments are sound and all work well . I’m delighted with this purchase and at a decent price (circa £50 April 2020) via the Braun web site, following the buying options that takes you to the amazon product page for the best deal; so don’t get caught out by doing otherwise. It’s easy to become unsure when looking at everything available and there are some tempting hair clippers out their in the marketplace via amazon etc. If ordering only one hair clipper and your budget allows, go with a recognised brand that you trust, particularly on a first time purchase, as due to T&C’s understandably such items are non returnable unless daily or damaged.

Fantastic clipper, would recommend

Sorry to say I was disappointed with the Clipper set. Firstly it was purchased for a gift and it arrived in generic brown shipping box, not like as shown in item description. The main reason for return though was disappointed with the quality of the item… even at the Black Friday price of £39.99 I found it incredibly small and very flimsy (just too plastic) never really had to send anything back to Amazon but on this occasion I have. I will order a more professional clipper set instead.

Nachdem in der Corona Zeit die Haare immer länger wurden, habe ich mich entschieden einen Haarschneider zuzulegen. Zur Auswahl standen für mich Geräte von Panasonic oder Braun. Es ist angesichts Verfügbarkeit und Preis dann dieses Set von Braun geworden. Mein Ziel lag darin, die Seiten und den Nacken auszurasieren und das geht auch sehr gut mit dem Produkt. Eingestellt auf auf eine größere Länge habe ich mich herangetastet. Das geht durch die mitgelieferten Aufsätze sehr gut und man kann kaum etwas falsch machen. Ohne Aufsatz arbeitet das Gerät ebenfalls sehr präzise an den Ohren, um das Feintuning des Haaransatzes vorzunehmen. Es erfordert etwas Übung, aber es klappt dann entsprechend gut. In Ergänzung habe ich ein Scherenset gekauft, um die Übergänge etwas besser aussehen zu lassen. Die weiteren Aufsätze wie Nasenhaartrimmer und Bodyrasierer habe ich noch nicht weiter getestet, spielen auch keine nennenswerte Rolle für mich. Da ich kein Bartträger bin, stand auch dieser Aspekt nicht im Vordergrund. Die Reinigung ist einfach, zwischendurch sollte man beim Haareschneiden den Aufsatz immer mal von Haaren befreien (kleine Bürste liegt bei), am Ende den Rasierer unter fließenden Wasser abspülen, trocknen und fertig. Der Akku sollte vor dem Haarschnitt voll geladen sein, mit angeschlossenem Netzkabel funktioniert das Gerät aus sicherheitstechnischen Gründen nämlich nicht (Nassreinigung und Strom wäre wohl ungünstig....). Nett ist der beigelegte Rasierer von Gillette , den ich zum morgendlichen Rasieren im Vergleich zum alten Nassrasierer (auch Gillette) getestet habe, aber keinen wirklich großen Vorzug feststellen konnte. Ich finde das Set empfehlenswert.

Ich habe den Braun All-In-One Trimmer Series 5 vor Kurzem gekauft und bin wirklich begeistert von der Qualität und Leistung. Das Gerät ist sehr vielseitig – perfekt zum Trimmen von Bart, Haaren, Nase und Körper. Besonders praktisch finde ich, dass verschiedene Aufsätze für unterschiedliche Längen und Bereiche dabei sind. So kann man ganz einfach zwischen Bartstyling und Haarschnitt wechseln, ohne ein anderes Gerät zu brauchen. Die Akkulaufzeit von 100 Minuten ist beeindruckend, und das Gerät lässt sich sowohl nass als auch trocken verwenden, was es sehr flexibel macht. Auch die Reinigung ist super einfach, da der Trimmer komplett wasserdicht ist. Das Design liegt gut in der Hand, und die Schneideleistung ist präzise und gleichmäßig. Für mich ist es das perfekte Set für die tägliche Pflege – egal ob für zu Hause oder auf Reisen. Insgesamt ein sehr empfehlenswerter Trimmer mit top Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Reçu à noël, déjà utilisé sur mon mari pour les cheveux la barbe et le nez et super Ne tire pas les poils, ne fait pas mal, pour l’étanchéité je peux pas dire on ne l’utilise pas sous l’eau. Mon fils de 4 ans avait peur de l’ancienne tondeuse, les sabot étaient désagréables et celle ci il l’adore, très rapide pour une coupe vite fait maison 👌🏻 Et très complète avec les sabot qui sont tour réglable sur plusieurs hauteurs Je recommande. On a pris la 9 en 1
