I like this product a lot. I wouldn't make a smart home without it.
nice color, works well, I have all smart home stuff so it integrated no problem and the bluetooth is a bonus. Clear sound and voice options. Easy to setup and use, and great control hub for the money. I also really like the AI. It's nice that I can give multiple commands at once or set multiple alarms without having to do each one individually. Really easy and versatile to use.

Worthless
Pretty worthless. Bought because I was so frustrated with Alexa being dumb but this home mini won't stay connected for more than a few minutes regardless of the network I connect it to. Spent more time reinstalling the device than using it

Love this for anyone needing assistance with voice commands.
Great sound quality and size for the price. Many color options as well. Easy to set up and turn off when wanted. Use this to turn on and off lights, no more stumbling in the dark.

Fixed my “silent doorbell” problem — cheap, effective chime for Nest Doorbell
I have a big Google Home/Nest setup for home security (cameras + video doorbell). Recently my doorbell stopped ringing through my existing speaker setup and I stopped getting in-home announcements. Infuriating. I spent money on a technician who burned two hours diagnosing it, only to land on a simple fix: add a Google Nest Mini (2nd gen) and use it as the dedicated doorbell chime/announcement speaker. That solution worked perfectly. The Nest Mini was easy to set up, connects cleanly with the rest of my Nest ecosystem, and now I reliably get doorbell announcements/chimes again—without replacing my cameras or ripping out my whole system. I’m still annoyed about the compatibility/support changes that caused the issue in the first place, but I’m relieved there’s an inexpensive workaround that restores the core functionality fast. If your Nest doorbell suddenly feels “quiet” inside the house, save yourself the troubleshooting spiral: grab a Nest Mini and set it up as your doorbell announcement/chime. It solved it immediately for me.

Like having an assistant waiting for the next task you need done
We love this Google appliance. So convenient to just say "Hey Google" and then ask for a certain type of music or today's weather or how to convert measurements, etc. We have it in our kitchen and it provides an excellent hands-free way to get stuff done.

Das Google Nest Mini der 2. Generation hat mich persönlich sehr überzeugt! Die Verarbeitung ist hochwertig und das schlichte, moderne Design fügt sich perfekt in meine Wohnung ein. Für seine Größe ist der Sound außerdem echt gut, sodass ich gerne darüber Musik höre. Früher habe ich eine Amazon Alexa genutzt, um mein Smart Home zu steuern. Schade fand ich hierbei, dass man über Alexa kein YouTube Music als Streamingdienst einstellen konnte. Als YouTube Premium Nutzer echt doof, da man dann zusätzlich ein neues Abo abschließen musste, um über Alexa Musik hören zu können. Dieses Problem habe ich bei Google Home nun nicht mehr. Als Musik Dienst kann man zwischen YouTube Music, Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer sowie auch Amazon Musik auswählen! Somit sollte glaube hierbei für jedem etwas passendes dabei sein. Zudem finde ich die Gespräche mit Google viel angenehmer. Die Antworten sind informativ und präzise auf die Frage abgestimmt. Selten das Google sagt: "Tut mir leid, das verstehe ich nicht." Der Assistent liefert also immer zuverlässig Ergebnisse über das Wetter, die Fahrzeit zum nächsten Rewe oder dem Namen des Schauspielers von bspw. "The Flash". Des Weiteren funktioniert die Sprachsteuerung für das Smart Home wirklich gut. (Licht, Fernseher usw. an- oder ausschalten) Einziger Kritikpunkt: Es wäre schön, wenn man das Aktivierungswort „Hey Google“ ändern könnte – das wäre eine tolle Option für mehr Individualität. Insgesamt bin ich aber sehr glücklich mit diesem Gerät. Es macht meinen Alltag einfacher und ist meiner Meinung nach die bessere Wahl unter den Sprachassistenten. Zusammenfassung: +top Verarbeitung +schlichtes & modernes Design +viele Musik Streamingdienste verfügbar +zuverlässige Sprachsteuerung des Smart Homes -Aktivierungswort "Hey Google" kann nicht abgeändert werden
