This is an excellent poker mat. The material allows for cards to slide easily when dealt. As a bonus, the top is water resistant, which proved quite useful when someone spilled a quite large drink on it. We managed to clean it quickly, and were able to play on it immediately as the surface wasn't affected. An easy recommendation for any home game.

For the price, this actually turned out to be a very nice topper for our poker games. Looks great and cards slide easily. Definitely recommended.

Highly recommend

The surface of this mat is very slippery and it's easy to slide cards across the mat, and the mat is cushiony enough to nullify chip dropping sounds. The mat is high quality and is definitely worth the money, but the only issue with it is that the "card slot" drawings in the middle are wayyy too big to make sense in a poker game. There is far too much space in between the little box drawings and it makes the community cards look a bit awkward.

I got this mat for an old kitchen table that had been moved to our finished basement where my son & his friends hang out to play games (video, board & various card). It fit perfectly & gave a whole new lease of life to an old table - it looks great. Heavy, thick & good quality. It rolled out flat immediately. No creases, nicks or smell. Just perfect for sliding cards. Comes with a carry bag should you need it. (Ours will be staying in place). No hesitation in recommending this.

Have received many compliments and interest in the first 4 weeks of use, some folks have taken picture of the brand name and are planning on buying. It's not used for poker, but to play other card games. The surface allows cards to picked up easier, easier and softer to look at, cards stand out against the black matte finish that's spill resistant, COMES WITH A GREAT CARRYING CASE AS WELL. Unlike some others, the Edge is finished all the way around with stitching, which should minimize any worry over layer separation. Originally had a round Card Board shaft to roll it on, which had been bent in shipping enough, that it broke; I replaced it with sturdy polypropylene pipe of the same size, heavier, but won't bend or break.

So it huge and heavy af. It fits a pretty large table and I don't have one so I can't post a pic but will when I get it on a table. It does small like rubber but that's to be expected. It's look absolutely awesome and as shown in the pics. I had no issues with creases or anything like others thankfully. The one issue is the carrying bag is really low quality and has this crappy little strap for such a heavy mat. I noticed this was a common complaint in the reviews and now I see why. It looks like it just waiting to fail. I used a measuring tape to figure out the dimensions before ordering and 40in was too small so I went for the 70in and it's huge sonic will on go on a long rectangle table. Sonjust know its big and heavy and only for certain size tables. I might buy a round one and a 40in later for smaller tables. But hard to find people to play bow that the canadian govt make poker illegal. So we will see. But overall great product other than the carrying bag so just consider that before purchasing. ♥ best of luck poker players.
