Compact, nice & sturdy,
There are a few of theses specialized hose puller tools and I have most of them. This one seems to be the best of the bunch so far with respect to the build quality and size. By size I mean that it is a bit smaller than most and can get into some smaller spaces, by a little bit but sometimes that little bit is what you need. It won't work in real small or tight places though and not so good where multiple lines are installed close together but then almost nothing will in those cases. I would say worth having it for those special need times before you need to go "caveman".

Easy modification to make them work perfectly, and now they even work on 4mm air lines too.
These are really handy when you have an air line fitting that you can barely get to, and can't really get two hands in there on it. But, 6mm air lines slip through the grippers. So i cut ~3/4" long pieces of tubing and slid them on the grippers, and now they work. Easy fix. They're small enough to get in tight places.

The Right Tool for the job
For years i have been using a screwdriver or a pair of needle nosed pliers to disconnect lines with these fittings. It was always pretty much a wrestling match to disconnect the hose. I need to remove and replace one on an appliance and decided to see if anyone had a tool for it. I did a search on Amazon and found this one. I ordered it and when it arrived i tried it out on the job i needed to do. This tool worked Great - i disconnected the hose in no time - cleanly with no damage to the hose or fitting. Wish i had found this years ago. If you work with these press fittings and hoses for automotive or appliance use you really want to have this tool.

waste of money - will not work
waste of money. they do not work. i am working with various size push to connect fittings such as Duo tight fittings for the homebrew industry. will not fit. so for these fittings this product will not work.

Have not got to use yet but will update. But the Springs on them looks like it's ready to break

Work great easy to use unbelievable how easy they work
Worked great to remove bad line and reuse the quick connects. Strange how easy this tool made it.

Don’t work
I have tried to use these 3 different times and they don’t grip the airline to push on the quick release on the fitting.I would not buy again.
