Good quality, great finish looks well made. All functions operate smoothly and easily used if you’ve owned a lantern of this type before. No leaks unlike cheaper model. Burn time is as expected. It cost more but this is no ornament, it’s the real deal and should last for many years. Overall worth the money. It’s a kerosene lantern, so it does smell like a kerosene lantern.

It is a nice little lantern. Easy to use. I don't have any fuel leakage issues with the one I received. I've been using it with parafin oil, seems to work well with that in my camper van. It doesn't put out a ton of heat, it is a fairly small lantern, but it does help keep some of the chill away at night and it looks good doing it.

It's beautiful, romantic, sturdy, and most importantly, authentically German. I'm so enamored, I bought two more in different colors. The quality is undeniable – you can feel the difference. Well made. Lower than expected light output. More like an accent piece. They need to offer a larger model with more light output. I would buy this brand before any other but at this level of light I'd need 5 of them.

I love it .it work's great has some small problems like same small spots of color missing and it took some doing to get fuel lad off but it work's great

I ended up with the zinc or silver model because I wanted it to hold up to being outside. Seems to be a quality little lamp just enough light for one person for most things you’d be doing. We’ll probably get another one because two is better than one. Buy lamp oil from your local hardware store it’s widely available and probably cheaper there. This is a bit taller than a standard water bottle. Doesn’t throw off a ton of light but is higher quality than a lot of the cheap red ones you can get at a big box store.
