Great book for looking at hand placements and tips and tricks for using the Bowen technique. Easy to read and very informative.

One of the most informative books for therapists I have ever purchased Julian Baker has a clear understanding of the human body and all its intricacies. A must have.

This does provide an intro to the Bowen technique but the book does not provide figures for each move. This is quite frustrating for lay people that may not know what things like "popliteal fossa" or "the ischial tuberosity" are.

I'm still not sure I believe in the Bowen method but most body therapies do give some kind of help so I tried it. I bought it for my husband to use on me and for me to use on my young son. It was a good book but with books like this you have to be really committed to practicing.

I love this book. Any Bowen practitioner can gain a great deal from Baker's insights and should be in the library of anyone who practices Bowen therapy.

If you have started training in the fascinating and effective Bowen Technique, got the bug and want to know more this book hits the spot. It quite responsibly does not give all the information you would receive in training, but it IS great as a reminder and reference manual. The pictures are clear and the language simple and easy to follow.

Bin begeistert von diesem Buch. Lerne selbst die Original Bowen Technique und obwohl einige Griffe deutlich variieren hilft es mir das praktisch gelernte zu pefektionieren. Nicht geeignet ist es allerdings um sich diese Methode selbst anzueignen. Das English ist meiner Meinung nach auch für Deutsche mit guten Englisch-Kenntnissen leicht verständlich.
