BlissLife Dry Eye Mask - Warm Compress for Eyes, Heated Microwave Mask with Moist Heat Warming

Update: I got a second mask and find it is excellent for TMJ relief. The TMJ heat packs I've seen wrap around the jaw which would make my issue worse. This mask is great for placing directly on the jaw joint, the masseter and the neck. Original: I've now tried 10 different heated eye masks from Amazon. This one is the keeper! This is a good quality microwave eye mask. It comes with an extra unfilled mask that makes a good sleep mask for side sleepers. The fabric is super soft and thick and plush. The only thing I don't love is the Velcro strap, a sliding adjustable strap would be perfect, but this is a small point. If you have dry eye you know how important a good eye mask is, and while the microwave can seem inconvenient it is the best and safest way to get the gentle heat our eyes need. I haven't washed it yet, the spare mask cover is a thoughtful bonus for when you do wash it.

Love this fully reversible eye mask, which is soft on both sides like mink fur and amply proportioned (yet it fits my small face well). It is comfortable to wear, and the mask pillow inside (containing a grain) can be removed from the cover for washing. The only downside is its slightly longer microwaving time, 10-15 seconds longer than other masks I've used like Thermalon. Not a problem, though. Start at the shortest time recommended, then add seconds slowly till you reach a comfortable but safe-for-eyes temperature. This is the best treatment I know for dry-eye, when drops are not enough.

The product did what I bought it for. It did help my dry eye. Prior to using it, my eye lids would stick to the surface of my eye so that I could not open my eyes during the night. I left it on all night and my eyes were definitely more lubricated in the morning. When I woke up during the night, I was able to open my eyes. The reason I gave it only 4 stars, was because after using it for only about 8 days, I heated it as usual and part of the mask melted in the microwave. Both the outer mask and the liner with the flaxseed burned. Hopefully, this was just a fluke and won't happen again.

This mask is really very nice. It stays warm for a long time and feels good on my eyes. I was happy for the extra cover included. Can wash one and have another to use as it dries. One negative is the flaxseed smell. Definitely don't like that. Would have preferred unscented. Perhaps one day you'll offer unscented.

Excellent product that has just the right amount of weight for my eyes. It is relaxing and I've fallen asleep with it on. You can move the seeds around if it feels too heavy as one reviewer stated - but I find the weight to be perfect. It has helped my dry eyes tremendously. I can feel the moisture in my eyes from unblocked oil glands in my eyes after using it. I love the earthy smell of the heated flax seeds. Highly recommend this eye mask and this wonderful, small family owned business. 5 stars!!!!!

My ophthalmologist recommended that I buy one of these for my dry eyes and migraines. I used this product Maybe 10 times and I noticed a slight odor that was annoying but manageable. Tonight the smell was so unpleasant that it made me nauseous so I took it out of my room. The heat does not last long enough in my opinion. It gets the job done in a short period of time but I think I can find better.

Developed a slight inflamed oil gland in my lower eyelid and a warm wet washcloth compress felt good but cooled off fast. Considered an electric usb one but concerned that I wouldn’t feel heat dispersed over all of eye. Got this one and I love it! I microwave it for 40 seconds (30 sec wasn’t enough for me) and it lasts about 13 minutes. My eyes felt so refreshed afterwards and my oil gland is less bothersome. This provides a moist heat and although it’s hard to believe since no water is involved, there is moisture coming from within mask. The fit and weight is perfect and all of my eye socket is covered. Makes a great black out mask…use it during day and light is completely blocked out. The strap is Velcro, but maybe a bar slide strap would be better. Love having extra cover and both are so soft.
