Prestige Deluxe Aluminum Pressure Cooker, 5-Liter

I got this to replace a small pressure cooker that I had for way too long. We quickly make entire meals with just this one pot. It works magnificently and I would recommend trying it if you are interested.

Both the 5 and 2 liter products are in very good condition. Initially 5-liter had a break on the lid handle but later it was replaced immediately and got the new one. Working great now, don't see any issues. Delivery of this product was so quick.

After few months the whistle came apart and then the inside stained- They say they have no warranty in Ca and would not even send a replacement of the whistle . I even offered to pay and get their stainless steel and got no where .

The pressure cooker was defective. Destroyed my Easter meal. The pictures tells the story. The first time using right out the box. Seller admits the valve is defective. Refused to replace cooker. Complained to Amazon. Returned the cooker as defective. Will never purchase again from this Seller, anything.

This cooker works quite well. We have been using it for about three months now without any major issues. A few problems: 1. The cooker does not come with containers and separators, and I did not see any way to order these separately. If you cook food directly in the cooker (without using any container), the inside bottom part gets stains / pits over time. 2. The weight (whistle) made a very shrill and high-pitched noise at first but it has reduced over time.

I returned this as the cooking volume is not 5L at all. I measured with water all the way up to the brim (which you cannot do for pressure cooking)and it only came to 4L. The 5L label must come from total displacement volume with the lid on, which is pretty deceptive for a product description. Other than size, nothing wrong with it, but I would recommend the stainless steel one over aluminum.

The safety valve would not fit. I had to use my old pressure cooker valve.

This product is really good.. Soften meat in less than half hour. A bit noisy. What i found is that when you are pressuring meat ensure that the stove is not turn up to high it may cause spillage from the top of the cover where it releases pressure.. it was worth the money.. cooks really fast

We use it twice a week and expect this one to last two-three years. Pressure cooker are not made good quality these days. Gone are the days when they were made to last 10+ years.

Cannot a replacement gasket anywhere on Amazon.ca now cooker is of no use except for my baby to play
