I bought this as a main screen for the house. We mostly watch TV on devices and projector is used for movies and video games, which we only really do at night. The picture quality in a dark room is astounding, even projected directly onto a white wall. I wont bother getting a screen. Having worked in media for 20 years I wasn't overly hopefully and bought this as a "proof of concept" to see if a projector would work for us. Happy to say I am blown away. Even at a 2.75m wide image, quality is superb. In a lighter room (curtains drawn but with plenty of ambient light during day and a window without curtain in adjoining room) the image is still bright enough for games or regular TV. Dark images suffer compared to using it in a dark room though. Setup was trivial. About as plug and play as it gets. Unnoticeable input lag for games. If you intend to use this mostly at night or in a dark space, you will be extremely impressed. Top 5 lifetime purchase. 11/10. Would purchase again.

Very good quality of image and easy to setup. The fan is quite silent.

I am not an expert on projectors so won't make this too detailed. Bought this as an upgrade from a £100 projector as that wasn't great unless the room is pitch black. Projecting onto a beige painted wall. Picture quality is excellent at anytime of the day even with the curtains open. Sound is OK but would recommend a sound bar. Connected to my sky box and films and sports especially in HD are a joy to watch. I would strongly recommend it. Will be buying a good quality screen soon and I assume the picture quality will be even better.

Great! The seller was great and was a pleasure to deal with. Would definitely recommend this seller. The unit is perfect! 3m back and my room is a cinema!!! Zoom is great to reduce it back to a very large TV. Decent enough sound as well, haven't needed additional speakers for this one

I have nothing to compare it with as this is my first projector, 40th Birthday present from the family. Firstly the image is huge, we can literally turn our lounge into a cinema just by rearranging the sofas. The picture literally fills the the whole wall and it's a good size wall! The image quality is superb, we just use the wall as a screen to cut down on things we need to get it going. We've mostly been watching old DVDs, and the quality is still out of this world, even though we're mostly watching in SD. I was expecting more automation in the set up, the keystone is a manual adjustment, and you have to manually adjust the feet, and adjust its position a little one way or another to get the image aligned, but that's not a complaint by any means and it's very easy to do. The sound is OK, not amazing but you can easily just hook it up to better quality speakers, we sometimes do this other times not. It's also very easy to focus and generally you don't need to touch this once focused, even when changing rooms. In energy saving mode, the image very slightly dulls, hardly anything at all so we've left it in this mode as it's triples the lamp life (apparently). You can watch during the day without any problems but it definitely comes to life on another scale at night. Were watching about 2 or 3 films a week on it we love it so much! My only worry is we will run out of things to watch! I would make sure it's suitable for you before purchase. Work out the size screen you would like and the distance your projecting from to make sure this will fullfil your requirements. Luckily for us the same projector will suit for two different set ups in two different rooms

I have to say this projector is worth every penny. I did the research and looked at a few in the same price range but a this was Short Throw it edged it and i'm so happy i did. Even with some light in the room the picture is great but in the evening when it gets dark it comes to life. So far we have watched everything from Gardeners world to The boys, Star trek Picard to Despicable me and I sorry I cant fault it. Everything comes in at 1080P no picture break up or movement shadows or flickering. Game play from the Xbox one is a treat as well with the ultra quick response time. The remote it small but laid out well all you need is available to tweak your display. Currently is throwing 100inch at 5ft . If your looking to spend between £500 and £700 on a projector you cant go wrong with this one.

Après plus d'un an d'utilisation, la qualité d'image n'a pas bougé. Le capuchon de protection de la lentille s'est casse très (trop) rapidement, du coup je ne peux plus la protéger quand le le range. Il me reste plus qu'à trouver une solution pour le fixer discrètement au plafond.

Es un proyector de gran calidad. Investigué mucho al respecto antes de comprarlo después de una pésima experiencia con uno de esos baratos de menos de 100€. De modo que decidir gastar un poco más, y barajé otras opciones (varios modelos de Optoma), pero finalmente me decidí por este. Intentaré resumir en algunos puntos lo que opino de este proyector: PROS: - Tiene una calidad de imagen impresionante. Colores muy conseguidos, y muchas opciones para configurar las características de imagen. - Es robusto, lo cual es más importante de lo que parece pues los materiales con los que está fabricado dan sensación de robustez y calidad. Nada que ver con los que se venden baratos. - Muy buena potencia lumínica, si bien conviene usarlo con las persianas cerradas y/o de noche, pues de día, y dependiendo muchísimo de la luminosidad de la habitación, la calidad de imagen se ve algo mermada. De nuevo, nada comparable con los proyectores baratos. - Tiro corto: para instalar en espacios reducidos es lo ideal; puedes conseguir 120" con menos de dos metros de distancia del proyector a la pantalla. CONTRAS: - No tiene keystone horizontal, de modo que debes colocarlo con un giro nulo respecto a la perpendicular de la pantalla (es decir, que el foco incida lo más perpendicular a la pantalla posible). - No tiene más software que el que permite la configuración de la imagen, sonido, etc. Pero no es para nada 'smart', de modo que necesitarás una fuente que habrá que conectar en todo momento al proyector: PC, Chromecast, Amazon Fire o cualquier otro dongle similar. Hasta tal punto, que el USB que tiene solo sirve para alimentar un dongle conectado al HDMI, pero no para leer ningún archivo de discos duros con interfaz USB, ni nada parecido. Sin embargo, esto (al menos a mí) queda bastante claro tras leer las especificaciones, de modo que si lo que quieres un buen proyector de calidad pero sin características 'smart', pues no debería ser un problema. En definitiva, una magnífica compra, muy recomendable, para un producto de una calidad excepcional para el precio que tiene.

Easy set-up. Really good for movies and games in our small lounge room. Highly recommended.
