Nice minimal desk design
This was my choice of desk after a massive downsize from a vintage 1920's desk. If you're looking for something that is minimal, but still sturdy, easy to assemble and by its size, shuns clutter, the 48" desk is a good choice. The legs are 3/4" square metal. The cross brace aids in stability. The side pocket and headphone hanger are a nice touch, too.Packaging was well thought out. Box arrived with a moderate portion of one corner damaged. The contents were undisturbed, as the desktop portion was protected with corner bumpers. No need to call for an exchange. Assembly instructions were straightforward and pointed out the specific screws and to avoid mixing them up. I had this table together in about 15 minutes. Only extra tools used were a box cutter, a square (to make sure the legs were plumb with the cross brace) and a spirit level.
