This thing is awesome, I have an older nail gun that didn't come with a hook. This thing fits right on and works great. No more need to scramble when working in the trusses or from a ladder on where you're going to put your nail gun.

Use this on my porter cable framing nailer and it works great. Very durable. Great price.

Fits over a 3/8" fitting just fine, but i wish it had come with some 3/8" washers for spacers. I bought this for my Metabo/Hitachi nailer. When fully tightened down with this rafter hook, about 1/2" of threads are still exposed so it just sort of flops around. Make sure you get some 3/8" ID washers to use as spacers to fill any gaps. Ideally i think this should come packaged with a pack of cheap washers but otherwise its a good product.
