1 Metre x 5 Metre - Silver Reflective Window Film (Solar Control & Privacy Tint - One Way Mirror/Mirrored Glass)

I was super anxious to use this on my Windows. I was worried that I'd end up with a creased bubbly eyesore as I'd never used anything like this before but I followed the instructions to a T and all 3 Windows and glass door went on perfectly. The first window took me about an hour as I really didn't know what I was doing but the next one took 20 mins max and went on without a hitch. I used a lot of soapy water on both the window and adhesive side of the film, I found that making it very wet helped a lot. If you don't have a squeegee then I advise you get one as this was a vital piece of equipment in getting a perfect finish, it removed nearly every air bubble (except a few tiny ones which i used a credit card for). Take your time when you come to applying this film! This isn't something that you can rush through. Treat it like tin foil, if it creases there is no way to get the crease out, go slow, take your time, if you need to pull the film away from the window (say if you've noticed a bit of lint/pet hair or an air bubble, or the sheet isn't lined up straight) then reapply soapy water on everything before putting it back as any dry areas become adhesive straight away and if there are any air bubbles present in that area you'll be hard pressed to get them out. All in all I'm very pleased with this product. It does exactly what I wanted and gives me complete daytime privacy. Wish I'd purchased this sooner as it feels great not having to put up with the nosy neighbours opposite anymore👍👍.

Since installing this film on the windows of my office, it is much, much cooler! In fact, I no longer need to run the air conditioning. Provided you read the instructions, watch the excellent instructional video, and have the right tools, the film is very easy to install. The light in the office is still very good, but has a slight bluish tinge that is not unpleasant. From the outside, the film is not really noticeable unless you get a direct reflection in it. A great product, and one I would recommend if you suffer from overheating or just want to cut down the light levels a bit.

The roll was damaged the whole way through, so the film had dents in it at 85cm in from one end. I have ordered and used this film before and was happy with it but I think this was a returned item which hadn’t been checked

Not the easiest to install; we spent an afternoon prepping the windows and smoothing out air/water bubbles... But the overall finish is very professional and the dark black mirror colour is subtle and functions excellently at reducing solar insolation within our apartment, with the added plus of affording a heck of a lot more privacy from our nosy neighbours! Delighted with the finish and we have plenty of spare film to repeat the process, should we ever move! Pleasantly surprised! Watch the tutorial video FIRST; thank me LATER!

Very difficult and frustrating to prepare and fit ,read instructions well and look on YouTube how to fit, but a good result if done with a lot of patience.

Why haven't I seen this product before We have fitted several Velux windows in our houses and this would have been a god send. Found it now and fitted it to 7 windows, just got to order some more for another two windows It really works well, Nobody can see in during the day And also keeps the heat out. I watched the video's on You Tube several times Put plenty of spray water lube on windows and product, fitted like a glove. Now do you think I could use it on my motorhome windows? Going to give it a try.

I purchased this item to stop the glare on the TV through windows. I still have glare and still will need to close the curtains. I think it's great at being a privacy covering but nothing else. Nobody can see in from outside but the glare remains.

Easy to install, very effective. Love watching people walk past, stop and check out their appearance in their reflection! Downside is the slightly strange bluish tinge to the light in the room in the early mornings or late evenings when the natural daylight is dim, but I'm used to it now.
